Excellent investment, 5 years of useful life that this TV gives me and I will be more than pleased.

The 5 series has better blacks but still has the dreaded ghosting effect on dark, black or grey screens. The motionrate does better than the 4 series. The remotebis nicer that it includes Prime Video and a mute button. I will keep stepping up in series until the blacks are black. For the price I paid it will stay in the family room.

The picture quality is beautiful, comparable to any other named brands with QLED. Setup was a breeze, and the google OS works great. Many picture modes and sound is very high - was surprised to hear. Connected to HD TV antenna and that works as expected. Some people complained about slow OS - maybe its a little slow, but its not that is bothersome.

Great Budget TV

This tv made me realize that I have been driving myself crazy looking at youtube reviews nitpicking about features that I didnt know existed or I “needed” until being overloaded with reviews. The picture is bright and clear and is good enough for my family’s needs.

I will keep this short. This TV is very solid as a $400 or so 55" TV if that is the budget that you want to stay within. For me I purchased open box excellent for $339 as a secondary TV for my bedroom at my parent's 2nd home that I visit often. For such a purpose I am very happy with it. This is not a flagship TV, but again, while available at around $400 it is a really good deal and in my opinion the best consistently available for $400 option.

I purchased 5 years warrenty for $39+ $199. Winning! Now dont get me wrong it took forever to setup the tv with google assistant but hopefully it will last for 3 plus years.

Better Than You Might Expect

Bought this for my mom to use in the living room where there is quite a bit of ambient light and its been more than bright enough for that use case.
