What a waste of money

Picture was pixelated from almost the first day, the operating system was buggy and unresponsive. TCl would not replace or repair, Best Buy made me wait until the the 1 year TCL warranty expired then refused to replace or repair because there was a crack in the screen. waste of money for the TV and a waste of money for the protection plan. Also a waste of my time. spent over 2 hour2 on the phone between TCL, Best Buy, and the best buy geek squad exchange team. What a joke

Mixed feelings

This is my first and last google tv, sound doesn’t match video and not being able to buy or rent movies from Apple, Amazon etc is the worst.

I can pair BT headphones, but it doesn’t play sound to them. Weird! Gets glitchy at times and won’t load the Home Screen. Runs much slower than a Firestick. I would rather have the same TV without the “smart” feature and just use a Firestick.

Its happened twice in the month weve had it, very concerning.

However, it worth the price. This was definitely a steal for black Friday sale. The picture is pretty good, the sound without external speakers is pretty decent. Major upgrade from my old flat screen lol

First Google TV Experience

I have always stuck with the Roku and was in fact trying to get a Roku tv this time as well, but the Best Buy employee messed up and gave me a google tv instead after I specifically asked for a Roku. I didn't notice the error until I got home and I live on the 2nd floor and just wasn't willing to go through the hassle of carrying the tv back downstairs and returning it, so that is how I ended up with a google tv for the first time. All in all, I am very happy with the Google tv experience so far. I really like that they have an option to turn off all of the recommendations and suggestions and really simplify the experience to just the apps that I use. It has a nice interface overall. I also really like how it has a section that integrates very well with my tv antenna. The remote is fine. No problems with it. I will say that I have noticed minor glitches every now and again with the tv, but that's no big deal to me.
