Color accuracy is off and it’s a little laggy, but gets the job done of a QLED TV. Just needs adjustment and you can get self help from YouTube. Paired with a TCL soundbar and it’s a decent pair

Terrible Coil Whine and Slow Interface

The user interface and menus are super slow regardless of internet connection (Disney movies/Apple TV scrolling is way too slow) and after one week and very minimal usage, we started to hear the most annoying and loud coil whine from the TV. Very audible and noticeable and a sign that the components could be a lottery and there are some corners cut in the manufacturing process IMO. There are solutions online to reduce this noise however, I shouldn't have to adjust settings to make my TV behave! This is my first "budget" TV I have owned and my last as it is now being replaced by a Sony. I REALLY wanted to like this TV for the price and positive reviews.

Best bang for your buck for our needs at the time

Was really trying to wait for the new models to release but they couldn't wait any longer. After extensive research trying to find the best budget TV that had the Google TV interface and is 4K UHD and some of the other features, we were looking for without breaking the bank. They have been using it for a few months now and everything seems to be working good.

Great picture but no T-Link feature

It took about 30 to 40 minutes initial setup. Slow transition when you switch from menu to menu. I think the processor is struggling sometimes. The main reason why I returned it is the lack of the T-Link feature from the Android OS which basically enables you to power on the TV by another HDMI device and also by using Google Home and Alexa. I have an older Android TCL that turns on using Google or Alexa voice command / routines and this Google TV doesn't do that. I hope there's a software update in the future to enable this because I looked thru all the menus and no T-Link option.

In order to use voice commands to turn on the TV, you would need to make sure quick start (enabled by default) and network standby (disabled by default) are both enabled. To enable network standby, from the Home screen you would press the gear button, then go to Settings>Network & Internet>Network Standby>Enable. "T-Link" in this Google TV would be "CEC". To go to this setting you would again press the gear button and then go to Settings>Channels & Inputs>Inputs>Control Other Devices(CEC).
