Buy on Black Friday only

The dedicated Netflix, TCL, etc.. buttons on the remote are very unnecessary and annoying. I'm also docking points because there is no dedicated input button on the remote to change from one HDMI source to another quickly, WTH guys? Setting this thing up in Google Smart TV mode would be nice if you're a family that doesn't have a game console with all these same exact streaming apps on it. Otherwise the Google TV mode is a jumbled mess of ads and suggestions, when it might be easier on the eyes and the brain to leave it in "basic" TV mode. Additionally, this TV was on sale for $200 and I was told they would honor the Black Friday price as soon as it came back it stock. This was not the case and I had to pay $450 like a chump. Overall decent, but I should have sprung for an OLED model.

Not Best Buy’s Fault, But 2nd TCL TV With Defect

This is not Best Buy’s fault. The first one that did it to me didn’t even come from Best Buy. I went for this TV because of the price, which I thought was a great deal. I ended up with a far superior TV in the Vizio MQ7 model for only $100 more. Turns out, this TCL TV isn’t that great of a deal after all. It gets 2 stars, because the picture quality while it lasted was actually pretty decent. That being said, I would not trust TCL TVs. Be patient and find something of higher quality from a more trustworthy brand.
