Remote Does Not Work
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Tv overall seems ok, but cannot get the remote to work without pressing the power button multiple times every single time want to turn it on. Tried all the troubleshooting - re-pairing, new batteries, direct sight. Nothing works, very frustrating on a brand new television. I have never experienced this with a tv. Would not recommend, and do not plan to ever buy a TCL again.

Google TV is terrible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a Roku version and never had any issues with my TLC Roku 55”. Bought another Google version and the sound timing was the biggest issue, always an audio delay no matter how I adjusted it. Google assistant never worked correctly. I think TLC makes a good TV, only Roku version.

Glitchy experience

Apps will randomly launch while we are watching something else, interrupting and losing our progress. Software updates have only changed which bugs occur, not improving the experience. I was really hopeful for GoogleTV, but there are too many bugs to overlook. The picture and sound quality is ok, and the price is good, which is why I give 2 stars.

Google OS is junk
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this tv last winter for my living room. I have the same tv with the Roku OS and it is great. Figured I would try the google OS and it terrible. Crashes constantly and I have to restart, loses internet connection, and will just randomly leave a show and go back to the Home Screen. I would buy The TCL again but never with the google OS.

Hulu, youtube, yourvue tv, fubo, netflix, etc. The TV freezes up and hard resets. I bought a fire stick to try to bypass the issue and the audio cuts out and it hard resets. TCL customer service is also horrible at reaponding to issues. Avoid this TV at all costs. The only positive is the picture is great. The constant resetting is infuriating though.

Not what I expected

Toxic Smell

I could not get get rid of the toxic smell giving me a head ache. I have it on for 4 hours continuous now to see if the smell will dissipate but no! I had it for 15 days and it still lingers whenever its being played. I can not continue using it.

TCL JUNK TRASH TOTAL CRAP

TCL TV 6 Series

Our TVs are carefully designed and engineered to give our customers years of entertainment. Our TVs do come with a 1-year parts and labor manufacturer's warranty for those rare times that defects occur. In cases like this, if you purchased an extended warranty, you may want to reach out to see if you can file a warranty claim through the extended warranty company. Furthermore, if you purchased using a credit card, some credit card companies also provide additional coverage. This tcl brands are no good
