Purchased this TV for my workshop. It has a good sharpness, color and brightness. Fast motion is not perfectly smooth but for my purpose it’s fine. Love the built in Roku interface. Overall I believe the TV is a good value for the money.

It's easy to setup, the settings are easy to access and adjust. The sound is excellent as well as the picture, even if it's just DVD or Blu-ray. The 4K is fantastic and the ease of accessing ROKU makes it enjoyable.

I love this tv, especially for the price. Does everything i need. Put one up in the garage and buying a second for the bedroom. Great features and easy to navigate. Can't beat it for the price!

The picture on this TCL QLED screen is breath-taking! So clear and crisp compared to our old 4K LED! The sound is very impressive as well. The appearance of this TV is something to brag about too, as it has the thinnest frame, you barely notice it at all. Also, the stand is substantial, as it is made of metal and not plastic. The stand also has a built-in cable chase to help conceal the wires. We've only had it for a week, so time will tell how well it holds up over time. So far, there have been no glitches or concerns. The original setup was quick and easy, I sat and watched my 12 year old grandson do it for me, lol. OH, did I mention the price? HOLY COW, a few years ago, this tv would have cost $1500!

Great TV. Easy set up. Quality picture! I am no tech guru but I installed the tv, a sound bar, a DVD player and indoor antenna with no problems. Also very easy to connect to your WiFi.

The picture quilty is amazing, beautiful color with great details, the TV picture was a good as the more expense TV on the market, I love the streaming apps.

it looks awesome! great image. The darks are really dark which makes the colors look awesome. The sound quality is not great, but I wouldn't expect it to be much better for a TV.

Cheap tv, sleep timer quit working after 6 months. Very important when the tv is in the bedroom and you like to fall asleep with the tv on. Color is good. Like the Roku part of the tv.

It was time to cut the cord and go to live streaming. We needed to upgrade the TV so we didn’t need any “boxes”. Picture quality and ease of set up are just what we wanted.

Bought it in a deal, i bought it looking at the brightness at the display in the store and i like it so far. Easy setup, clear photo and the smart features definately worth to price.

I had heard so many good things and read lots of reviews for this TCL QLEF set. I decided to get it sight unseen as the deal on my Best Buy app was fantastic. I got the set home and started the setup and was immediately promoted to set up a Roku account. I know it’s a Roku TV but the interface was very pushy. After all that mess I went through the rest of setup. The menu system is very cumbersome so went I went to make a few picture adjustments it was no fun at all. On top of that, it takes an eternity to power on and the inputs are very limited with no RCA type jacks for older equipment. The picture is good but the rest of it is not. I’ll keep playing with it and hopefully I’ll find some answers.

We were cutting the cable cord/cost!! This was a perfect way to cut the cord. Awesome picture quality, easy to navigate, can add channels. Very impressed and highly recommend....affordable.

My overall experience was very satisfactory. The TCL -55” Class 5 Series QLED 4K UHD Smart Roku TV is like no TV that I have previously owned, though I have owned some. It is in a class of its own. The richness of its pictures /colors and endless entertainment are unique. The Roku system is absolutely compatible with my satellite TV system which makes for easy accessibility. The very simple remote is a beauty to behold and controls my vast favorite programs. I have been enjoyed by the performance of this TV especially its Dolby Vision. The Roku system enables me to access multiple streaming channels also. The price is not only competitive but is worth every dime and more.

I bought this TV as it seemed to be great value for money and we had just cut the cord so plan to take advantage of the various streaming channels. The picture quality is great. The Roku OS has a decent interface plus I can supplement it with phone apps such as a remote control and Reelgood for tracking which shows in a series you have watched (I have suggested to Roku that they include this necessary feature natively). The audio is so-so so I purchased a Polk sound bar that works over both HDMI-eArc or optical. I have tried both. Here is the issue. The audio/video sync is off - not all the time - but a lot of the time. It turns out that this is a known issue with Roku TVs (not a TCL issue). I have tried all the various recommended fixes to no avail. Until Roku provides a patch to fix this, I cannot recommend this, or any, Roku TV.

This TV is so clear. We really like it. The built in Roku is awesome. Love only having one remote. Great picture. Perfect for movies and gaming. Would rightly recommend.

I bought this for my parents to replace their old TV. The picture is clear and crisp. They love it has Roku built in to access their streaming platforms.

We bought this because the backlight went out on our previous TCL ROKU TV (fortunately, we still had 2 weeks left on our Geek Squad warranty - well worth getting, by the way). We wanted to get another ROKU TV - we cut the cable cord a decade ago. The process was quite simple - went in the work order that included the amount to apply to the replacement. The Best Buy representative steered me to the television I wanted (only one left). My old television was taken to returns, the new one was loaded in the car, set up at home was fairly straightforward. The biggest shock was how sharp the picture was - it was like watching actors on a stage!

So I've had this TV now for about 6 weeks purchased along with the TCL Alto 6+ 2.1 Channel Home Theater Sound Bar. I couldn't be any happier with two, still seams like such a good value for the price. Set up was so easy and quick for the two and I was already a Roku stick user. I was able to program my Spectrum remote for full use with the TV and all Roku options ... so cool. I also give the people who work at the Palm Desert Best Buy Store a big shout out, they were great! I order online for pickup and I was in and out of there in 10 min. Excellent Service, Magnificent Picture Quality, Great Theater Sound, Good Deal ! !

Incredible picture quality for a 55inch 4K tv under $500. You'd have to spend triple the price to beat the quality. And the built in Roku tv platform makes it a super easy to use tv.

Easy to set up, and the picture is great! We already use Roku so easy to use the operating system. A few little software issues recently (they must've pushed an update). Hoping those resolve soon.
