I read and watched many reviews for this set and decided to get it as a replacement for our 55" TCL 405 when the backlight on it went after only 3 years. Many reviews listed this as one of the better mid tier sets and I completely agree. I also purchased the 5year protection plan as there has been a well documented production issue where the backlight tends to not last more than 2 to 3 years on some runs of different TCL sets. It's best to be protected just in case this is one of the affected units.

This TV is incredible. Roku is easy to set up. So many features and settings. Picture quality is perfect! Clear picture and vivid colors. TV loads up really fast. Highly recommend!

This tv has a lot going for it, has numerous picture mode settings and sub settings that allow you to fine tune the picture to suit just about any you would like, the full array back lighting and Qled display really help provide great picture quality. As with most flat panel tv's the sound quality if ok. Only down side is that it does not have blue tooth so I purchased a device for the audio out and now have blue tooth, this television is underrated and truly a "best buy" And don't forget the Roku!

Works great so far. I haven’t had issues with it besides it froze once and it was fine after a reset

Great picture. Easy to use, but has a delay when loading some of the images for different streaming services. Often have to turn off and on to get things to load properly. Didn't happen with my plug in Roku.

This is a wonderful TV for a reasonable price. We are very pleased. Great picture. Good for all viewing including sports. Very easy to set up and link to my Dish network.

Definitely worth more $$ than what is costs. Great picture, looks nice on the wall, not too costly. Best Buy did a nice job mounting the TV. Overall very pleased

Excellent picture! Its perfect for watching movies. The blacks and colors are really great. I prefer it over my 2019 6 series. Great TV for the money! Im happy!

We did our homework for best value without breaking the bank. We decided on this model and we were blown away. We found it beneficial to combine it with a sound bar.

Roku integration is great. Picture above average. Not as bright or sharp as my Samsung Series 6900. HDR snd Dolby Vision better than the Samsung. Got the TCL 8i soundbar. It is great!

This tv is a good purchase. The picture is clear and so bright it will light up a room. The picture is exceptional and this tv is very easy to pair to other devices.

The clarity is sharp and the sound is very crisp. We mainly keep the sound at around 20. The only down-side is getting used to a small and lightweight remote.

This tv is not the top end or low end of the TCL lineup. It offers great bang for the buck and provides a crisp and accurate picture. Great middle ground TV.

Tv is great. Very good picture and can do everything I wanted a smart tv to use. The ease of use is fantastic for someone who does not do well with tech products.

My girlfriends tv "fell" during a party and it was broken. I immediately decided I was going to get her a new one. She said she wanted a ROKU tv, so I started looking up reviews on which was the best. TCL was right up there, and Best Buy had a grst price, plus 0% financing for a brief time. This is what I wanted. I brought the tv to her home and hooked it up and WOW!!!!! What a picture!! Amazing! Old tv shows look new! We proceeded tp put on the Blu-Ray of the Wizard of OZ. ALL she kept saying was " I can't believe this picture!" Definitely worth purchasing!

Great picture, easy to use remote. Set up was no problem and quick. A lot of preloaded channels and easy to add more. Very pleased with this purchase.

Love this TV! Easy setup, great picture. We had no issues with this TV. Lots of inputs, was able to connect streaming computer, added streaming channels effortlessly.

Hi this is the second TCL 55in Roku tv that I bought from Best Buy in the past 2years. I loved the first one so much that I originally was buying this second one as a gift but since it was such a great price and I was able to upgrade to a 5 series, I decided to keep it for myself as an upgrade. Of course the first one I bought still is working like new but for the price and the great quality I figured why not? I would recommend this product to everyone cause I’m going to get a third but bigger TCL Roku tv and Best Buy will be my first stop
