We had resisted going with a TCL as the lower price seemed indicative of lower quality. After getting this model up and running, I have revised this opinion. The TV is in a relatively bright room and it performs well under these conditions. I now feel good to recommend TCL as it is obvious that they are of good quality.

This is a wonderful TV, easy to set up, good sound, fine picture. However we have discovered to our dismay that it will repeatedly turn itself on in the middle of the night, This seems to be a problem especially with ROKU TVs, The only remedy we have found is to unplug it at night.

Best bang for buck TV out there. Comes with local dimming which is awesome. I will never buy a TV without local dimming again! Amazing picture quality and very user friendly unlike other brands interfaces. 5 stars all day long

We love this TV! This is was an upgrade to our previous Sony TV. The Roku OS is leaps and bounds better than the Sony OS. Picture quality is great for this price point. If you are getting a TCL, look for the Roku version. There are apparent security issues with the android versions.

This is a great little TV for the price. The picture looks great and the Roku feature is spot on. The only issue is that we are using this TV outside, under a covered patio, and there is quite a bit of glare during the day. At night, the picture is great!

This television is beautiful to look at and beautiful to watch. The picture quality and sound are way better then I expected. I am quite satisfied with my purchase and would not hesitate to recommend it for purchase.

Great tv without breaking the bank. The picture is great and the built in speakers are surprisingly good. If you are not mounting it to the wall, I would get a swivel stand. The legs that come with it limit your options for size of tv stand and viewing angle.

It's a great looking TV but I'm kind of let down with the fact that I found out that it only runs video games at native 60 hertz and not 120 hertz I'm a gamer and I bought the TV thinking that it was going to run games at 120 but maybe I should have done a little more research before I bought it

Amazing picture. Our old 55 inch we bought 3 years ago stopped working the day before the superbowl and we couldn't get geek squad on the phone so desperate we had to get a new one. The picture is a lot better. I still have the old one, was it only supposed to last 3 years? I pray this one lasts longer than that.

Excellent local dimming and contrast. Blows Visio m-series out of the water. Super thin bezel. Great build quality. Excellent picture quality overall. Only missing feature is HDR10+, but could and should be added by TCL via firmware update.

Couldn’t get a better updated tv on this price ! The quality is underrated, sound is as if you was inside the theater great sound above all…using my phone to control everything is the best feature

For the money its a great TV. Is it the VERY best? No, you can get better contrast and HDR with more expensive TVs but for most people this is probably a big upgrade to the cheap black friday deals they've purchased in the past.

easily adjusted to my preference of viewing color , etc. Good sharp picture, We got an adjsutable stand for a chest, so perfect viewing height, we did not want it above a fireplace or on the wall. Stand turns to what viewing angle we want.

This is the tv we chose to use in our garage as the "Kids" tv, and the picture for the price is great. Streaming Disney+ or youtube is the primary use for this tv, with some PS4 thrown in for good measure and for the setup we have I am glad we went with the TCL.

I’ve had my tv for almost a year and it’s still my favorite purchase. Colors are crisp and vibrant. Sound is amazing. It works well paired with my Samsung soundbar !

Love the picture on this tv, still getting used to it. We’ve had a couple problems with the streaming software.. certain movies from Disney plus and Netflix just wouldn’t load for some reason.. I may try to exchange it for a different one of the same model. other than that this tv is great for its value.

The 55 inch Class 5 TCL QLED Smart Roku TV is an excellent product. I am very pleased with the picture quality and functionality. The smart TV functions are nicely integrated within the menu options. Overall I would recommend this product.

I love this tv. It has many apps and user friendly. Never had a smart tv so happy the sales person at Best Buy recommended this smart tv as she told me it was easy to use and she was correct. Would recommend this tv it is overall a great choice.

Excellent picture and other features, okay sound. The roku system and remote is a bit of a pain. It does not play well with other devices, such as firestick or external sound devices. It pretty much insists that you use the Roku system to control everything.

Good price, good picture and good sound. It was easy to hang; just wish they had mentioned at the store that I needed to buy a piece to hang it from. Had to go back to store and buy it.
