I was upgrading the TV in my den and had set myself a $500 limit. I bought a Samsung 58" TV but after watching a football game I became disappointed in the way the ball movement shuddered on screen. I did more research and saw a number of positive reviews on this TV, especially regarding sports and gaming. I returned the ssmsung and picked this up and couldn't be happier. Plus I'm dealing with the Roku interface for the first time and I really like it. And the Spectrum cable app works really great for watching Spectrum cable.

For the money, you’re not going to get a better TV. The picture is vivid and the screen is just the right size. Gaming is done quite easily on this TV and the 4K content is superb

We were looking for a larger TV and after doing our research we decided on this one. The availability, features and price were the reason we chose this model.

So far the TV is working well, no problems. This is my second TCL set. It replaced a Panasonic plasma 18 years old) that was starting to act up. Setup was easy and quick.

4K looks really good. Crisp definition and colors. Sound quality is nice. Very budget friendly when compared to more popular brands.

Pretty nice TV. The sound has cut out a few times but I don't know if that was related to the streaming service I was watching. The picture quality is fantastic. Only downside is there's no AV port for my WiFi.

What a picture for the price. No regrets for this purchase. Built in Roku and WiFi was nice as I didn't have to run a cord for the internet.

Great picture quality for its relatively cheaper price. Highly recommended however the newer one is probably better.

Love it! Excellent for what we needed. For the price it’s almost as good as our top of the line OLED’s. The quality of it is outstanding. Love the technology interfacing.

These TCL 5 Series TV’s are the best bang for your buck TV in my opinion! I have an LG OLED TV and for the price difference, this is a great TV!

Was blown away with the picture quality. The QLED screen really lends to a smooth picture. Dolby vision looks great, bright vivid colors. Great tv for a low price.

This continues to be a great 55" in 4K TV. I replaced an older HD that was 50" and this one has a smaller footprint. The built in Roku TV has been a nice bonus.

Just bought a new TV TCL 55" and I love it. I do believe you'd love this if your a gamer do to the picture being so life like.

picture is really good and it has expanded my tech as well My internet is good most of the time but hopefully it can get a upgrade soon which will help.

An exceptionally good bargain. Excellent picture, Roku system easy and with surprising number of free channels on Live TV (actually, you won't believe it)

Nice picture when viewing straight on. Tends to wash-out a little if viewed from a moderate angle from either side. It daylight this tv has much more glare than the older Samsung it replaced.

Brilliant picture, clear sound. This is a great television for a reasonable price. Don't buy into the "Name brand" hype. TCL knows how to make an impression!
