Good TV to Binge watch and game

You need at least 48 inches clearance for the feet. Tv stands 70in would be ideal but you can do the 55 if you don’t need space on the sides for decor/aesthetic.

It's a great picture...... when I'm not watching a sports or anything w white coloring. Dirty screen is evident. Shading in all 4 corners. Not great viewing angle. News looks good.

It has been a learning curve for us to learn how to operate a "smart" tv but so far have liked what we see.

My TCL Roku 4 series only lasted 18 months when the backlighting went. I'm a Roku fan so the ease of these TVs is a nice convenience. I did purchase an extended warrantee on this TV. I recommend this TV with that caveat.

Great TV BUT Crashes Often

I'm not sure what causes it but I purchased this TV too soon after it's release to find any reviews. Turns out it's a common problem, one that TCL hasn't acknowledged (hence the 2 star review). With exception to that, it really does a great job for the price. Occasionally it struggles in dark scenes when there's areas of brightness at the same time, otherwise the backs are perfect. I want to say the brightness hits around 450 nits. A last warning for those who haven't used a Roku TV yet, it may have android but it is NOT Android TV. This matters because you will only be able to use the apps that Roku deems ok, but in return you get the free Roku streaming channel.

Junk TCL Roku TVs

Since owning this product, I now see why there is so much distress from owners venting on the internet over the lack of customer service. When I was researching this product including viewing "Best Buy's reviews, I did not see one compliant regarding TCL wireless connection not working properly. I have gotten no support from TCL which opening agreed that their wireless circuitry is old and can't support new router security software. I would not recommend this product to anyone. It is trash! Do yourself a favor and buy a real TV, such as Samsung or LG etc. Having Roku is no good if the TCL tv can't stay connected to the internet via wireless. I watch Roku channels via my Amazon Fire Stick and it works fine. I told customer service and they told me the problem with the tv is my wireless router not the TV.

Daughter’s house warming gift.

She did the research on what she wanted and Best Buy had reasonable price point. Ordered online in Arkansas at an Oregon store with free delivery to my daughter’s apartment. Easy and super convenient experience.

TCL has been great so far and you can tell that they put more effort into this kind of TV.
