Good, but…

Picture is great. Motion is very good. TCL and ROKU make it very easy to navigate apps. Everything is good but, it gives off a burning rubber smell. From the first time I turned it on, it was a VERY strong “brand new TV” smell. After 6 weeks of light use, it still has a lingering burning rubber/chemical smell that I can detect through out the whole house. It is annoying and toxic. I called TCL support, surprisingly a rep answered, very polite, and only said to air it out and call back if it continues. - will wait and see. All good except for that. I would recommend, only if they fix this issue.

Awesome picture but cool whine is too distracting

I also liked the HDMI 2.1 inputs. Sound is irrelevant since I connected it to my existing soundbar so that’s not an issue. The one big con I have is the coil whine that happens every time the screen goes black either from switching apps or during a loading screen when I’m playing a game. At first I thought I got a bad apple, and Best Buy gave me a replacement. It was quiet the first day but then the coil whine started happening again. I thought perhaps I could live with it but as time goes on it’s getting louder and gets very distracting so I’m just going to return it. It’s a shame because I really liked the TV.

Great TV

Was hesitant to pull the trigger, but sure glad I did. Using it with my Xbox X in my office and I'm in love with the colors and responsiveness. Roku on it is a bonus to. Now time to upgrade my living room TV with one of these bad boys!
