    TV will not turn on via remote, app or switch At bottom of TV since day one. If I disconnect from power source, wait about ten seconds, turn TV back in then remote works and TV comes on, works perfectly then. Opened a trouble ticket with TCL day one did extensive troubleshooting per their instructions and now they won’t respond to my emails. So beware of their products. I’ve had another of their TVs for a few years no issues but this one is a dud with no support!

    The picture quality on this TV is great. However, the reason I can't give it 5 stars is due to the squealing noise with dark sceens or when switching inputs, as mentioned in some other reviews. I can confirm that this is still an issue, even with local dimming set to medium.Hoping TCL can fix this with a software update without requiring a device exchange.

    TCL Customer service is the WORST- do not buy.

    Worst customer service experience I have had. My tv started "glitching" while watching streaming apps. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Youtube TV. The tv pauses, does a little circle thing and then shuts off and comes back on to the homescreen of the tv. At times, it does it continuously.. ie, during a live sports event- not happy. so.. I call TCL customer service- talk to a nice rep who has me reset tv, change some settings, check my internet connection, etc- says to call back if no better- I call back, and as it turns out, you can't ever reach the same rep- so I started again with another rep, he had me do some of the same, and some other "troubleshooting"- solutions.. I go through them we hang up. same outcome. wait a few days and I call again- this rep tells me to take a pic of an error report, has me go to youtube to take a pic of some nerd thing there that I assume has my internet streaming info-- so I send in video evidence of my issue and every other thing she asked me to take a pic of.. - I do this and get an email saying they are working on my problem. a week later, another rep calls and tells me to connect the tv to my mobile hotspot and try again- (still glitches.. surprise!) Seems to me TCL is trying to blame my lemon of a TCL TV on my internet provider and are not covering the obvious manufacturers defect. It is clearly an issue with this TV as my other tv's perform just fine and never have these issues. Do not buy from TCL. if you want, go to better business bureau/ BBB and see all of the similar complaints. Also, the problems started out of the box- I wish I had returned to it best buy as soon as it started. TCL is a huge disappointment. also, the tv picture is average to poor in my opinion- spend your money elsewhere.

    I bought a top of the line premium tv that cost 3 times the amount of the 6 series tcl. And the tcl is just as good with super bright colors. I’ve owned another 55 inch TCL in the past. They have made major improvements in their picuture quality. I am very happy with this tv.

    This tcl is very good. It’s good bang for your buck! Gaming on this tv is excellent. Straight out the box you may have to get the setting to your liking but once you get that done it looks good! The 55” was good enough for me has vrr and 1440p support.

    Excellent image quality; Roku mobile app allows remote control from iPhone: Easy to project phone content onto screen via Airplay. Initial unit had defect, but Best Buy swapped it out easily. Totaltech install worth the price of membership.
