    Great tv. Picture is amazing and so much better than the google one I got. Typical Google control and track everything you watch or view. Hate them, even force you to create a google account t use. Why to watch my tv?? So Roku is awesome

    Coil whine constantly.VRR has not worked since the beginning. I’ve had a ticket open with tcl for months and months claiming it’s a known issue thet they’re working on a software fix for. Vet is the only reason I purchased this tv and it doesn’t even work. Will not purchase tcl again after dealing with their lack-luster support team.

    Defective TV and Slow Warrantee Response

    Problems started with this TV just after the BestBuy return period ended. First, streaming apps froze every time they were used. Then the sound started to cut in and out. Sometimes the screen is black but the sound continues. At other times the picture is OK but there is no sound. Now the TV shuts off and reboots all on its own but the problems persist. Sometimes the only way to turn the TV off is by unplugging it. I've called TCL three times and emailed twice. They walked me through various ways of resetting the TV, updating the software, etc. Nothing fixes the problems. They suggested I replace my router, so I did, but that did not fix anything. I replaced the HDMI cables, Ethernet cables, remote batteries - nothing worked. TCL asked for video and still photos illustrating the problems. I emailed them everything they asked for. They said they would get back to me with a plan for how to proceed within three business days. Those three days have come and gone without any update from TCL. I called again and was told there is no specific timeline for resolving the issue. I have two older TCL sets that work well, but this new 6-Series clearly has bugs.

    Ok TV noting superb about it. I guess this TV doesn't have the quality standards like Sony or Samsung

    Roku platform controls what apps I can download and play like bitchute. Too much control over my content and won’t be buying Roku again

    TCL Roku TV is exactly what I was looking for for my bedroom set up as a snap the picture quality is tremendous and the sound is good. For the price this TV is a bang for the buck.

    Power Cables are not Essential Items for OBs TVs

    When I bought it it was listed as Open-Box Satisfactory, which states "Minor to moderate cosmetic signs of use possible Any signs of use will not impact performance Nonessential parts or accessories may be missing", but I didn't receive a power cord or remote with the TV, which would be an essential part, as you can't turn the tv on without a power cable. When I brought it up to the sales agent they stated I could go buy one from the Bestbuy down the street. Not wanting to argue with a kid who was really is just moving the TV for me, I figured I bought it from BestBuy online, they could just refund me the difference between a Satisfactory open box and a Fair open box and I'll go buy my own cable and remote. Nope, support can do nothing for me, so I'll have to bring the entire TV back and get a full refund. Moral of this story is if your going to buy an Open Box from BestBuy just assume it's in Fair condition and when it is in Fair condition when you get to the BestBuy get a refund and just leave. Note: Both the sales and support reps were as helpful as they could be and pleasant .

    Bad Luck with TCL 55" TV

    I had a new 55" TCL tv delivered in January and 14 days later I started hearing a whirring/squeaky sound coming from the tv late at night. The next day I called Best Buy and was told "Sorry, you can only return items for 14 days. You need to contact TCL." I then contacted TCL and was told to video & photo the serial number and take a videos of the problem so I submitted the videos and photos. Several days later I was told more of the same so I gave up on the issue. I'll deal with the funky sound issue for as long as I can and then buy a new non-TCL tv from any other store than Best Buy. I had good luck and was very happy with the previous 50" TCL that I bought from Best Buy but with this experience I will no longer buy TCL products or buy from Best Buy.

    Great Picture Quality Mini LED Does make a difference in picture quality I wouldn't necessary buy an OLED TV until I upgrade the Bedroom TV.
