I used it for about 3 weeks and after using it for 1 week the speakers messed up twice during the second week of using it so I am finally returning it. The picture quality is excellent though and for the price as I read this was decent in comparison to the LG CX and Hisense 9G. I read Roku tv's in general appear to have this issue, but my friend that has another older model of TCL Class 5 does not have this issue and has owned their tv for months now, so it appears to be a lottery in the hardware on what you get. I read other reviewers that have this issue though, but it's happening too often for me that it is not worth it and I would've exchanged it if they were still in stock. The issue I was having is that when powering on, the speakers appear blown out and super loud at volume 1 and muffled. In order to fix it, I had to unplug and plug it back in.

Great price, very bright and vivid picture, love the built in Roku. Have had Samsung LCDs most recently, one a smart TV that feels obsolete. The Roku is great, took me a few minutes to connect my iPhone and start screen mirroring, which I only need for HBO Max because it has everything else. Like that you don’t have to fuss with inputs but it’s all on Home screen. I love video games but not obsessive about video quality, but switch and PS4 look awesome.

Don't get me wrong, the standard picture quality is phenomenal for the price. But it's not worth the headaches. HDR content just doesn't work, period. It looks unsaturated and dark, as if it's playing on an SDR display. There are also lots of bugs. There will be times where it has to crash and reboot multiple times in a week just from adjusting the volume, and other times it functions fine but a little slow. It's also important to note TCL plans to start focusing on Android instead of Roku, so support is very small. I emailed TCL about the issues I've had, they made me jump through hoops for weeks only from them to leave me hanging for about a month now.

We purchased this TV for our newly finished basement last year. It is the best TV we have in the house, but not because it’s the most expensive or best name brand. It really surprised me how great the picture looks and how bright the screen is compared to a higher end LG TV we just bought recently. The Roku interface is a nice feature and works well, plus the included remote is simple to use and small. I’m a fan.

Clear picture, great brightness, easy setup thanks to Geek squad

This TV has a great picture and customer support is very helpful. It is disappointing that the "Smart TV" has no browser feature (confirmed by tech support) so I have to set up my laptop and connect with a HDMI cable. There also seems to be a synch problem with sound and video; tech support is working with me to help solve it but after 20 minutes, no luck. Will continue another time.

My buying experience was excellent. My tv was knocked out due to a lightning strike. I had not researched or planned to buy a new tv. With the help of the sales associate who was very knowledgeable and so patient with all my question's, I found a quality tv for a reasonable price, a TCL 55R635. “"The picture is better than my previous tv a Sony Bravia.

Love the picture, and the integration with Roku. The only downside and an important one - I have a BT transmitter that I would like to use to connect to my BT headphones and listen with the TV audio turned off. It connects to the optical out connector. There is no way to turn the TV audio off while using the headphones. Really?

I was going crazy trying to pick a new TV. This brand had mixed reviews, from the past, but this 600 series is amazing. I guess they have really upped their game. Beautiful color and the contrasts are just amazing. I was looking at LG or Sony at the same price but think I got a superior TV.

Very nice TV for the money! I like the rich and crisp colors. The built in Roku works just as fast as my Roku Ultra on another TV. What I don't like is the flicker in the screen when you first turn it on. The Roku menu has a slight flicker until you choose a channel, then becomes clear again.

Great tv wish tcl would have stuck with Roku google tv is terrible
