YouTube TV and Netflix glitchy

The image is fantastic but we’ve had some glitches with YouTube TV and Netflix. Internet was working properly and I needed to unplug the tv to get the apps working again. Disabling the led motion is a must. Overall pleased but issues with our most used apps has made me rethink purchase. More choices for wallpaper would be nice but not a huge deal.

Would be hard to beat at the price.

At first I was on the fence with the performance of the television and thought about returning it. The problem was motion processing on just about anything moving quickly. After using my xbox as a source as opposed to the apps on the television it took care of those issues. The peak brightness and contrast really makes the picture pop. Games look and play great on this set at both 4k 60hz and 1440p 120hz.

This is in no way the best TV in the world. But I dare you to find a TV better than this (or the H9G) at this price point. The big 3 TV brands have a lesson to learn here if they want to stay in the lead. Cons: - Black uniformity - Viewing angles - Some people would mention “blooming” I don’t find it that distracting - You can’t pair Bluetooth headphones to it - Yes, there is some “black crush”, I don’t find it that bad once I dialed it in to my liking Pros: - Literally anything else you can think of.

Everything is not for everybody!

I was reading all the Tech reviews and everyone was saying how the picture is so great, but honestly. My Samsung (all my Samsungs) have a better picture than this TCL and I'm a bit disappointed. I was expecting this brilliant picture and could have saved myself a couple of dollars. The picture seems to have this haze over it and Geek Squad advised me not to change the settings. It's not the worst, but it's definitely not the best.

Have a 3 series 32" TCL too. After 30 days with this 55" model it has met or exceeded our expectations. (It is not used for gaming just FYI. ) We are quite happy with the product. And it was easy to set up and continue to use a Vizio 5.1 soundbar with it. So far all those reviews I read about the 55R635 have been correct.
