I love this TV! All the TVs from TCL have been awesome. The fact that Roku is built in…even better. Great picture, easy to use remote. What else could you ask for?

Picture is amazing. We’ve never had a tv with such wonderful color and graphics. It’s easy to set up and use.

I have returned over 8 TV’s (so sorry BB!) ranging from 1600 to 603, which is what I was lucky to find, since it was an “off the wall” display meaning it had never been owned by anyone but BB. I can’t even begin to articulate how magnificent this TV looks. And coupled with an Apple TV 4K, with their color rendering, makes this tv look like a Neo QLED Tv (which is one of the tvs i had returned) which runs over 1500 bucks. Sony, LG, Samsung, you name it, I’ve had it and this tv, not even considering the price, is amazing. Thinking about an OLED? Buy this and an Apple TV 4K and youll still have enough for a nice soundbar. Hands down the best all around TV for it’s price range and above.

Bought this last week after exhausting, modern day research that is silly but part of our culture. It was either this, a cheaper Hisense or go huge with the LG CX OLED. In the end, with burn-in on the OLED and seeing how few zones the Hisense had, this made the most sense. It has much better coverage with zones and is right there with the CX with future proofing and no burn-in possibilities. I also found the perfect settings after using the TCL IPQ app. As follows: TV brightness: Darker Picture size: Auto Picture Mode: *Normal - Picture Settings: Local contrast: High, Backlight: 80, Brightness: 45, Contrast: 100, Sharpness: 75, Color: 41, Tint: 0, Color temperature: Normal, All motions: off. If you want smoother, use Picture mode: Sports. Personally it makes me ill.

I updated my 14-year old TV with the help of my grandson and son, and now I'm all set! It's a beautiful picture and it shows everything. I've noticed many details previously missed.

I like the TV but I really like cutting the cord. Easy to use

Outstanding product tremendous improvement over our previous LED tv

It's been 2 years since I have bought this TV and the led display went out without any sign of fault or damage. I have never had a TV just completely give up on me this soon after purchase. This was a great TV, but it is obviously manufactured to brick after a given length of time as after doing some research many people are left in my situation after buying this TV. In my recommendation, do not buy TCL. Their products are gilded and do not last.

We've always been a fan of TCL's. We upgraded to this QLED when we got it for an excellent price before Christmas in 2020. A year later and we are more than happy with our purchase. We would recommend and buy again.

Good TV and Great at the price point. Can have problems with local dimming in dark scenes, as well as color banding. However, this is only noticeable in a very small amount of scenes so personally I don't notice it very much.

TCL 55 R635 Purchsed March 2022 after prior great experience with TCL. Recurrent problems receiving Dolby or HDR content. Just a blurred blanked out screen. Requires TV to be unplugged and retstarted. TV wall mounted which make this a particularly annowying experience, Have had several lengthy calls with TCL support to no avail

I've owned this 55R635 for less than a month. It was fine for a week. Then audio sync issues started no matter what I watch on it. Then I started researching and Roku forums are full of complaints about it. There are 11 pages of complaints. There seems to be no fix for it. This has been going on with Roku/TCL TV's for well over a year. I spent HOURS last night trying to adjust and correct this, both through my new Denon 650H receiver and through the TV and through Prime Video/Firestick settings. There is no fix for it. The only possible fix I've seen is to completely disable all Roku by resetting and not connecting it to the internet and just using your own devices (Firestick, Streaming Box, DVD etc.). This is really unacceptable. Half the reason I bought it was for the "cool" factor of the Roku built in to this TV and the high ratings of the Roku app. I could buy any TV but this one had what I wanted. And now in less than a month I'm extremely unhappy with it. To get proper audio syncing I have to disable the entire Roku feature of this!! Reconsider your choice on purchasing this TV. Neither TCL nor Roku has offered any explanation or fix for this issue and it's been happening to many customers since at least 2018.

Great TV, however the controller does not come with a charger. Problem is the controller eats batteries. We have to change the batteries every 2 to 3 weeks. Have been online and this appears to be a somewhat common issue. Surprised not more reviewers have mentioned this problem.

Works wonders with my 7 mega of internet! Apps runs smoothly and image quality is astounding, plus, it didn't break my purse.

Great smart TV, TCL 55” 6 series! Looks great! Best Buy did great!
