This Tv really impressed me. I got it to replace a tv I accidentally broke and had no money for a Samsung or LG and I have no regrets. great picture quality, i do recommend setting the picture mode to dark and colors tone to warm to get more accurate colors. we use it for light gaming, tv series and HDR movies and it beats by far the old LG nano cell 9000 (broken one) so i do consider it an upgrade. I am not a fan of the Roku ecosystem but we solved that with a streaming stick.

Good TV, annoying app required to access settings

I bought this TV to pair with my PS5 and it has worked well so far. The picture, HDR, and contrast all look good. The only annoying thing is that some picture options can only be accessed via the Roku app on iOS/Android, and on my android I get an error. I solved this problem by using an earlier apk, but I shouldn't need to download an app to be able to change the gamma and color settings of my TV

I believe you will not find a better tv for the price than this one. If you are a gamer, this will be a perfect fit for the new systems that are being released. The price is awesome for the quality you receive from this tv. One minor thing, make sure you configure the remote in the tv settings cause otherwise the remote will work very sluggish. After I did the configuration, the tv's response was awesome. Other than that small minor hiccup, the tv has been amazing.

This is exactly the TV I have been looking for at exactly the price point I expected. I replaced a previous TCL 55" 5 series. The 6 series is amazingly different. The backlight and the mini-LED tech are incredible. I didn't realize how the 5 series didn't show true black. HDR and Dolby Vision movies are night and day different from the 5. The 4K resolution is stunning: easily best upgrade purchase ever.

The ruku platform is perfect for movies and tv show, type whatever you want in search it goes threw a data base of all Apps online and plenty of choices for purchase, rental , free options. Picture quality I feel like I received more in good picture and lower pricing . Gaming is very colorful crisp detail with a surprisingly fast VRR for the price . Give remote control 24hrs for programming will use a few batteries . Very pleased with this purchase

I'm really impressed with this TCL 55R635. The picture quality is great. It's the first TV I've had with the eArc HDMI port and in general it works well, turning the connected sound bar on and off from the TV remote and controlling the volume. For some reason it loses that connectivity on occasion, but seems to have stabilized and just work as expected. Using either a Pixel phone or an iPhone, you can auto calibrate the picture as well. The price is also really good, too.

The R635 is a good 4KTV, very bright. The issue I had with mine was with Dolby Vision movies on Netflix and Disney+, which appeared to be a little bit darker, and felt could be a little more clear with details, even after picture adjustments. I exchanged for the R625, which was better with Dolby Vision, a little more clear and brighter. So a good 4KTV for the price, but I feel there is better out there.

Actually my first TCL tv, I don't have much experience with TVs but the color contrast, HDR, and refresh rate is a lot higher than my 2016 Sony. Overall, I used RTings and a bunch of other online sources before buying this TV and I couldn't be any happier with my purchase. The main point I liike about this Tv is ROKU and how quick it is, lots of features including Apple Play, and being able to cast to the TV. It's responsiveness is high without intrusive as ads.

Perfect TV so far. Nothing wrong with it still. Had it for about 4 weeks now. First bought a Nanocell 85 and it was pretty dark in HDR mode. Returned it and got this tv for about $50 more and it was well worth it. Pretty bright TV. Got a 2 year warranty just in case too. Works great on the xbox series X for warzone, mlb the show and other gamepass games. Can do 120fps at 1440 or 60fps at 4k. Has auto low latency mode too which is sweet

Excellent TV at an exceptional price. Upgraded from an original led Samsung unit & the picture quality is like night & day. Only thing to note is, I still have a Samsung soundbar & you cannot use the arc connections for it. Fir sone reason the signal does not pass thru. Therefore cannot adjust volume with included remote. But otherwise a great TV for the price.

This TV definitely lived up to the positive reviews and tech magazine recommendations. Fantastic picture quality. We watch a lot of movies and play video games on the tv and it looks really good. The sound is as expected. I had never used the Roku TV before so wasn't sure what to expect. I have been impressed with the Roku, it's easy to use, good interface and pretty slick.

I have in the last 2 years replaced all my TVs with TCL series 8 and this Series 6 mini LED TVs. I love them. I love the Roku interface and these TVs have awesome quality and picture. If you know how to setup the pictures you get amazing colors/brights and blacks. If you are going to game you will love it. I got mine open box and almost 50% off, frosting on the cake.

Great tv value. Great picture. If your not looking to spend $1000 on a flagship gaming tv, this is the tv. Gaming is great on this tv good price. The specs aren’t 120 FPS but we aren't there yet. The only complaint is the tv remote eats batteries in a week so get rechargeable batteries. You can get past this with roku app on your phone or buying a new remote.

TV is nice, thin, easy to use. Don't love the remote, or the light that stays on all the time unless you change the settings. Also the TV sounds started having issues after 2 weeks where it was loud even on volume 1. IF you have the same issue, you just have to reset the factory settings and it'll be back to normal. Besides that the TV is good.
