The TV is very good but..,

It refuses to recognize the cable box. Picture is good. Soundbar is good. Remote is primitive and does not allow for volume adjustment. To do that you have to waste time in Settings. It’s not a problem for me since I have the soundbar but it’s a pain for everyone who doesn’t.

Amazing picture, especially for the price!

Then the NFL playoffs and some hockey too - with crisp, clear views! Once the movie binge started, my wife even noticed how clear the picture is! And the streaming wifi connection is stronger than our old TV too - no buffering!

A Great 4K Option and a Great Value

The Smart features mean linking up to all of the common streaming systems are built in and finding the more exotic options are easy as well. The picture is incredible, with bright colors and dark blacks with no pixel issues. It was the perfect size for our space and the setup was easy. This is an excellent 4K option at this price.

But a recent sale tempted me, and wow... from the packaging, screen quality, ease of the Roku TV OS, and general features, now I’m a believer. It compares very well to another display we bought for 4X the cost (it’s not quite as good, but waaaay better bang for the buck).

It has started to flicker on and off and it does it periodically. It’s only off for a sec or two and then pops back on. 2. The leg placement sucks! They flare out from the tv and make it weird on some TV Stands.

Best buy made purchase even better by matching lower price i saw on web and salesperson was very nice to allow me to compare pictures of both the TCL and OLED tv from LG side-by-side. a month later... happy with purcahse and happy with Best Buy and information they provided.

The picture quality is exceptional (for the price), it's pretty loud, and the ROKU interface is easy to use. The only complaint I have is that is that the UI is slow compared to high-end televisions (1st world problems). My Sony 900H can get to Netflix in like 1 second no joke. But I must say for an edge-lit model it's not bad.

Picture is excellent and the smart tv apps were pretty fast. Picture also doesn't suffer from the dimming you typically see when you look at a tv from the side instead of straight on. If you dont mind brands that aren't mainstream and are looking for as many features as you can get for the price, this is a good tv for you.

It looks great, especially when you don't expect perfection from a lower price TV. Blacks and lighting are a bit iffy at times and the smooth motion takes some tuning but overall, it's a great TV. Bonus points for using RokuOS. I can get rid of one of my Firesticks now. Eventually will be upgrading my living room TV to a TCL also.
