This was a really nice tv for the first year I've had it. Now it's giving me problems. The screen will go black and stay that way until I shut the power off. The sound randomly goes in and out. I will not purchase another TCL TV.

Feature packed, reasonable price. Roku OS is great.

The Roku operating system is fast, easy, and real likable. This TV shines when you play 4K content, and looks just fine with HD or Dolby. Sound is fine for a TV. You really would be hard pressed or overly picky to ever criticize this TV. I'd buy this set again and again and again if I needed that many sets.

Pretty decent monitor for the money. I don't think that the color is as good as it could be and I get some banding in gradients that shouldn't band. I am using this as a computer monitor so I am comparing it to much more expensive monitors built to have a very wide color gamut. As a TV, it is should work well for the price.

great tv for streaming and playstation play ,clean look

Upon review of several other sources reviewing this product, I thought this TV would be a large leap forward from the prior model which I also own. Well....it was not! In fact I hardly notice any difference at all. If your expecting a leap forward in picture quality, you more than likely will be disappointed!! I was!

Nice TV. Good Value. Bought open box - Geek Squad Certified. Came packed without its remote. Was a njuisance to go back to the store where purchased. Customer service found the remote and solved the problem - but it took two phone calls and and a visit back to the store.

I really like this TV. I w as s on the fence about buying TCL because people have said that they're not very good TVs but I decided on purchasing it because it was reasonably priced. I put it up on my wall and I was blown away by the display. I will definitely say I was surprised.

I purchased this TV from Best Buy in July of 2019. Loved the TV for gaming and streaming. Then this morning my daughter asks me how to make the lines go away. A third of the screen has lines that come and go, some are always present, I think it’s based on color. TCL tells me the 1 yr warranty is up so I’m out of luck. 1 month out of warranty! How convenient for them. First and last TCL product I will ever own.

Purchased as a gift and this is one of the best televisions you can get for the money. It has all the features for a current gen 4k smart TV and it's Roku OS is simple to use. Customer support is also great, was missing the AV component 3.5mm adapter but they shipped it out without any problem.

TCL knocked it out of the park with this one. For the price you pay the value is tremendous. I wasn't sure how much I'd enjoy it, but with the pairing soundbar and the 4K. This works perfectly well for us until we decide to add another Smart TV to our home.

it was a great tv. great picture, good options. however it's been over 2 years now and now i have a 1/2 grayish/light box around all edges of the tv

Love this TV. We haven't had a new TV in quite some time and this was a huge upgrade. We are big ROKU users, and the speed of the ROKU within the TV is much faster than the external ones we have been using. Very happy with the purchase, would do it again.

My previous tv was another TCL Series 4 (43s405), which I only had for a little bit over a year, but noticed really bad dirty screen effect and banding, soo I started looking for another tv. I was hesitate on getting another TCL tv, due to the issue stated, but I decided to give it another try with the 6 Series. After a week with the 6 Series, I am very pleased with my decision and with the tv, its a huge leap forward from the 4 Series, as far as tv specs and picture quality. There's no dirty screen effect, the grey uniformity is really good and I love the integrated Roku interface, its really easy to use, the tv passes Dolby Atmos just fine with a soundbar that has Dolby Atmos support, the HDR10 and Dolby Vision looks great with the help of the local contrast zones for deeper blacks and for better color high lights, looks amazing. For Dolby Vision, it can get a bit dark, so I just set the Local Contrast on (medium) instead of high, but all other media or content, I keep it on high contrast. Other settings, I keep the (Natural Cinema): On, (LED Motion Clarity): Off, due to it makes the picture darker and introduces flickering, (Action Smoothing): Off, (Picture Mode): Movie, (Color Temperature): Warm, (Sharpness): 0, and all the other settings I keep as is, but the (Backlight) and the (TV Brightness) settings as per your preference and room conditions. The 6 Series is really good for gaming when you put (Game mode): On, very low lag latency. The tv is kind of thick if you look from the side but from the front, the framing looks thin with the black metal look. The only Cons for this tv, the motion could be a bit better and the tv legs are too wide apart for most tv stands but this can be replaced if you buy a Universal Tabletop TV Stand. But overall I get this TV a 9 out of 10, again I am very pleased with this tv!

We waited until the price was reduced on the TCL 55R625 and had therefore built up an inner demand for it. It is set up and working fine. We have some more work to get it on the internet but the cable is working well for those channels. It was a great b
