Great Picture

We also do not like how it will go to the Roku red screen when you are trying to flip between satellite or hulu of any other channels.

Broken Out of the Box

The power works, the remote works, but there is no picture. It is not a matter of inputs, the "home" screen doesn't even appear. Troubleshooting got me nowhere, including 3 attempts at a factory reset. Now I have to remove my new tv from the mount, attempt to repackage it, and drive to a distant Best Buy (mine is out of stock) for an exchange. Even if the new one works I would not recommend buying from a company that ships faulty tvs to retail.

Don't waste Your $$

Now I deeply regret it, if I could give ZERO stars I would. The system reboots itself at least once per viewing session. The display frequently pixalates, the frame rate is choppy and it routinely loses antenna signal. For the first couple of weeks it "felt" to be random, it has progressively gotten worse, unfortunately I can't return it.

Technical Issue

Sometimes I had to turn it off and back on. Not very happy about this. Can I return it back to the store??? I need a replacement ASAP

Dont buy open box tv at Tuttle Crossing Best Buy

Found out there were missing items + tv froze multiple times; had to reset to factory setting multiple times. It should have never been put back on the floor to sell without proper diagnostic testing!

For the money the quality is not there

It has a very dull, grainy like appearance. My 10 year old Samsung has a better picture then this. It looks like you’re watching Standard. Over priced tv for mediocre quality.

Horrible quality control issue

The second one has two spots of dirt under the screen. Better but still far from ideal. Never had this problem on my previous TCL. Considering returning it at the moment.

Got a Used TV. Really upset!

Don’t buy a TCL tv

This has also been the case with friends who bought a TCL TV. I will never buy another. While I liked the TV while it worked, it is a poor value.

Poor stream quality

Streaming quality on Hulu and Netflix was horrible. Nothing was smooth, very jerk movements. Internet connection was 85 Mbps, so it's the TV.

Waste of money

Gorgeous picture and simple to set up / use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the 55" 2019 Series 6 TCL Roku TV a few days ago. Here's my experience setting up and using the TV so far. Hardware Installation: With two people it was easy to carry the TV into the house. The box lifts off to make it easy to pick up the TV and to place it on a table. I had my old 40" TV on a stand with a mount that can handle up to 56". The spacing for the stand mount (200mm X 200mm) was the same as my old TV, so there was no problem getting the new screen mounted. Then I just had to connect the HDMI from the new TV to my Yamaha A/V receiver. I then removed the plastic and foam protection from the screen, and to plug the TV into a power socket, and to put the provided batteries in the friendly, simple Roku remote. Audio / video source set-up: In the past, I ran all my devices (Blu-ray, Roku, Chromecast, Fire Stick) into the receiver. Video went out from the receiver to the TV in an HDMI cable, while audio went out to the speakers from the receiver. Now, with the Roku inside the TV, I needed to find an ARC (audio return channel) setting in the receiver to get the TV to be able to send audio down the same HDMI to the receiver. The easy part was setting up the TV - it led me through telling it where the HDMI4 (ARC) was coming from, and provides that input as a "Channel" in the list of Roku Channels. And I signed into my Roku account, quickly getting my preferred channels set up for all the ways I'll use the TV other than the old sources going into the receiver. I can probable stop using the Fire Stick, and possibly the Chromecast too. Since I have the Roku app on my Android phone, I can cast from apps on my phone (like YouTube for example) directly onto the TV, so I don't need to use the Roku remote to find content inside all apps. When I opened my Google Home app, it already knew that I have a new Roku TV on the network and asked if I wanted to be able to control the TV from my Google smart speakers. Initial experience: The picture is amazing. I rewatched Black Panther in 4K via Netflix. Darks were dark, details sharp, landscapes breathtaking. The * menu lets me adjust basic settings such as 5 brightness pre-sets.

Picture quality as good as, if not better, than Samsung at over twice the price. Amazing color and definition. Outstanding quality at a low price is not something you see that much any more.
