I got this great TV at a terrific price. The setup when I first turned it on was excellent, no hiccups. Sound is pretty good, but I have a sound bar so I didn't need the built in speakers once I got the sound bar hooked to it. My small complaints: There were only four holes in the back for attaching a wall mount, and once I removed the screws that came with it I realized I needed to source some longer screws to use with the mount (my old mount had SAE screws, not Metric). Because there were just the four mount holes on the back it made for an extremely limiting wall-mount setup, but I was able to make it work. I also wish the rear connections such as optical audio, hdmi, and usb were close to or at the side edge. It's really difficult to get a hand in there to make a connection once it's wall mounted. Speaking of USB, for some reason it's considered a separate app, not like changing input on a normal TV, so it took a bit to find it using the remote. The built in wifi has been excellent, the TV downloads apps I didn't even know about, and watching some of the 4k apps has been a delight. I couldn't be happier with the picture quality!

Tv has exceptional picture quality and easy to operate. However the screws that came with the tv to install the legs were not the correct ones. We had to run out to Home depot and figure out which ones were correct. The legs of the tv are cheapish and our least favorite part so we opted to buy another stand. Other than that we are happy with the tv.

This TV has exceptional picture, comparable to much more expensive sets. Also, the built in Roku system is easy to use and does 2 unique things. It provides a great guide for the over the air antenna and it can pause antenna shows for up to 90 minutes.

Been waiting along time to replace my Insignia 42 inch plasma and it was worth the wait. The picture is amazing!! The Roku remote takes some getting used to. My father in law gave me his PS4 so I can't wait to try it out, may not go back to my computer. Will update my review if I have any issues..

Never heard of TCL televisions until a month ago. Started reading the reviews and decided to buy 3 for our newly renovated condo. The picture and the sound quality are amazing! And the ease of using a ROKU based television for streaming Netflix and Prime is the icing on the cake! Never going back to LG or Samsung!

This TV will compete with TVs double the price of it. It has a fully blacklit panel, QLED so the colors really pop, has Roku as the software so you have access to almost any streaming app available and just simply works. It's an easy TV to use and I cannot say enough good things about this purchase.

Had this tv about 6 months, so far so good. Excellent pic quality on par with my sony.. Roku platform makes it much easier to access all apps. I got it price match with costco price as well. Well done BB. Only con is d stand, had to walk mount since it is at the corners. But Def would recommend it..

We are very pleased with the TCL Series 6 TV. The picture is fabulous and for the money is a bargain. the only issue was attaching it to an existing wall mount that required extenders (spacers) and new screws for mounting. We are a fan of the Roku software and ease of use. Great purchase!

This is our second TCL 55" color TV with ROKU. The set-up of the TV with our cable box, DVD player, VHS player, etc. was incredibly easy. The picture quality is also excellent. The remote is easy to master. We find that this TV meets all of our needs and we have no plans to change brands in the future.

TCL has come to United States. Each Series of sony and samsung TCL matches the quality. Best of all the price tag is much lower for the same quality picture. The only reason I returned this one was to go to larger screen . Go for the 8 Series of TCL if you can afford it. Has ROKU built in to this brand so ease of use is great.

Picked this TV up on sale and it was easy to setup and the picture quality is great! This began our cord cutting experience and the built-in Roku interface has made the transition smooth and seamless.

While not OLED-quality, the picture on this TLC TV beats anything I've seen at the price. Plenty bright for a sun-lit room, and colors are rich. Good sound, too. And the ROKU interface is unbeatable regardless of the price. Unless you're willing to spend twice the money, this TV is the one to buy.

TCL series 6 was highly rated for affordable picture quality and did not disappoint. Easy to unpack and attach legs, thanks to youtube, and programming setup was fairly effortless. we upgraded from a roku stick on an old 40" samsung, so are totally thrilled with TCL 55" awesome picture.

I was hesitant to purchase this TV because of the brand. But when I got it home and compared it to my much more expensive Sony I was shocked. The TCL has a superior picture and so easy to navigate the supplied apps. Don't hesitate to buy this beautiful TV! You will not be disappointed.

This is my first smart tv. Wasn't sure if it would be a smooth transition or if it would be hard to figure out but it was very easy to get used to. The remote has all the right short cuts and its been super easy to work. The quality is amazing. Im very happy with my purchase!

I love this TV - it's great value for money. The image is clear, the sound is good (even without additional speakers, and the Roku interface is the most consumer-friendly in the market. Setting up the TV was fairly easy and painless, and I was happily binge-watching shows within the hour.

Amazing television set! I see why Cnet rated this tv as the best 55 inch tv. Colors are very crisp and vibrant. I also love the Roku interface as I was coming from a Roku streamer. One small disadvantage is that the remote does not have voice search

TCL makes the best "affordable" 4k HDR TV you can buy. With a great panel that will actually utilize HDR content that you have. Smart TV features are powered by Roku which is probably the best Interface for TVs. Apples may be more powerful but do not offer the ease of use as Roku. The higher-end LCD from Sony or Samsung will offer a better picture with more advanced local dimming. But you will be paying close to $1500 to notice a difference. And at that point, you may as well save up for an OLED TV

This TV has been amazing! I've had it a little over year now and it is one of the best purchases I have ever made. The coolest thing is that it has a picture similar to my roommates OLED but for about half the price. The only thing is you get a little blooming here and there when the screen goes black but you will not notice it unless you know what you're looking for. Iphone's also have an app that you can use to calibrate the TV which has made the picture look even better. Movies, games, regular television looks INSANE on this TV. I've heard a lot of bad things with TCL and their panels but bad panels happen with every TV company and its always luck of the draw. I am so happy I purchased this TV, it has immersed me in so many movies and television shows that looked bland and drowned out on other TVs. TCL please continue making these amazing TVs at this amazing price.
