    Gets 4 stars for eveything! Looses a whole star because I bought this over other options for 1 very specific reason. Google home speaker groups. Fail. This Cannot be added to a google home speaker group. Despite being a google tv. You have to buy another google tv dongle, plug it into the hdmi and that can be made part of the google home speaker group. What a joke!

    I can't say enough good things about this TV. For the price you're going to be blown away by the brightness, contrast and colors. I use this TV more often than my LG G series OLED TV due to the difference in brightness and often watch movies at night on it when I don't feel like going downstairs. Is it better in every way than my OLED? NO! But, it is good enough to strongly recommend for anyone with a bright living space seeking great picture for the money.

    Really love this TV! Think Google TV is even better than Roku. The picture is amazing and great for playing game on Xbox One.

    Too late to caution anyone, but although I think TCL makes great TVs I would never wish a Google TV on anyone. My first TCL was a Roku TV and I loved it. I am very sorry I bought another not knowing that they had switched to Google TV and how endlessly frustrating it is. I hate Google TV and would never buy another.

    The TV is fantastic, but the software running it needs work. It will freeze on occasion and requires unplugging to restart. Most of the time it works very well. It's great for playing games and streaming, but somewhat cumbersome to switch to cable. Could use an "input" button on the remote.

    Let's start off with the positives. It has an amazing screen brightness is excellent color saturation is on point and the sound is quite excellent for TV speakers. I believe the problem with this television is its processor, because I have another television with Google home TV and there aren't any problems with it. However this TCL television software freezes up to the point I have to unplug the power and plug it back in at least once a day. I've tried doing a software update no good looked online for anything to fix this and found out that Best buy pulled all the TCL Google TV TVs off the market for a period. I hate Roku TVs so that's why I picked this one hopefully one day TCL will do an OT update to fix it. I would return it if it wasn't wall mounted and Best buy wasn't so far away.

    Picture is excellent - nice and bright, no "bloom" that I can see. Sound is surprisingly good. It took me a while to figure out how the on-screen menu and remote work, but I was able to figure it out. My only little complaint is that there's a lack of (or I couldn't find) online help - I wanted to look up what specifically "Zoom 2" did, but couldn't find anything - no explanation of the various aspect choices. There's not much online stuff.

    Replaced a vizio m8 with this Tv and it has been great so far. Picture will need a little calibration, but all new TVs need some after purchase calibration these days. One thing I can say is there nearly no blooming with this TVs because of the mini-leds. All the dark areas stay dark. It's a nicely built TV. It's not too thin, but the bezel doesn't take away from any of the viewable space. If you can catch it on sale it's worth the money, esp if you want a gaming TV on a budget.

    I purchased this considering the google TV software included in it. Initially, it gave me a couple of issues related to downloading apps and streaming them. However, I reset my internet connection and reset the google tv account and everything worked so efficiently. The picture quality is superb and sound is awesome as well. If you love watching sports, this is a great buy for the price.

    Since the latest software updates, the tv works much better. I still have to shut it down completely (reboot it) when it has a glitch or the eArc sound is out of sync, but these occurrences are fewer now. The picture is very good and it seems I received a good panel.

    The picture is amazing the software is glitchy. The TCL has needed hard resets during the use of streaming sites. It becomes unusable and unresponsive black screens while using multiple apps. I really like the picture but if the updates don't help, I may end up returning the t.v.
