we absolutely loved the deal so much that we had to buy two! it was by far a great deal on the rook tv. Great 4k image I am highly satisfied with this product. I can't wait to mount it o the wall!

We needed a tv to be mounted outside on the lanai so it needed to be a good size without breaking the bank. Clear picture that can be watched outside.

Ten days ago, as my wife sat down to watch the news with her first cup of coffee, she turned on our 7 year old 60” Plasma HDTV only to find that, although the sound was great, there was absolutely no picture. I tried everything that I could from unplugging the TV for about 30 minutes and then plugging it back in to supposedly reset. I also tried playing a DVD, playing the Roku and playing the Over-the-Air TV. Nothing worked! So, I went to the internet and after a bit of searching, I noticed that our problem was well known and supposedly easy to fix for an electrical engineer. Fortunately, a few weeks earlier, we replaced an old bedroom 24” HDTV with a TCL 32” 3-Series HD LED ROKU Smart TV and have been very impressed with the picture, sound and functionality. During my search for the 32” HDTV, I ran across the TCL 55" 4-Series 4K UHD ROKU Smart TV (55S405) and would have bought it then simply because of its price and user reviews. But, unfortunately, it would not fit the space allocated for the TV. So, I came to Best Buy’s website to see if the TCL 55” was still available and in-stock. To my surprise, not only was the TCL in-stock, it was on sale at a $70 savings from when I last looked. So, without a second thought, my wife drove to Best But, bought the TCL, took it home and had it up and running in less than an hour. Setting up the TV was fairly easy, the picture is excellent, the sound is quite good using only the build-in speakers and using the remote is easy if you’ve previously used a ROKU remote. Even though the TCL is 5” smaller than our plasma, the difference is barely noticeable. And, considering that this TV cost 30% of what our plasma cost and the picture is as good, if not better, than the plasma and the added functionality, we consider this one of our “best buys”!

What can I say? This was a great budget purchase to upgrade an older 46" TV. Even upscaled content looks great on it. I didn't think the difference would be so drastic. Thinking of getting a second one soon as well.

I needed a tv for my outdoor patio wanted something cheap this tv has worked great.

It fits great and the sound is absolutely astounding. The various features are a total plus. The price was a super value.

I ordered this TV because there is no other 55" TV on the market with as many features and as high quality for anywhere near this price. I did end up returning it to get the next model up, same size, but only because I wanted the HDR and extra features. BOTH TVs are the best value you can get in the 55" range, so if your comparison shopping, stop wasting your time and just buy this or the next model up, you won't regret it, there's nothing better out there unless you want to pay $1000 or more.

I was hesitant to get a TCL. I was not sure of the quality or sound. No fear! I am now buying my mom one for her birthday. I've had this TV for almost 1 year now- still just as new. The colors are so vibrant- white is super white and black is BLACK! The sound is crisp and clear, great for gaming too. When I get up close, no image distortion. No "noise" on the screen when up close either or lines like with my other Sharp TV. Great in bright room too. Does not take up a lot of space. Has all the in-puts and out-puts, HDMI, USB, 4K, bells and whistles I need. I AM VERY HAPPY!

This smart TV is great and I would recommend it to anyone with a budget it has all great features and is cheap.

I did some research before I chose this TV and I agree with the reviews. This is a great TV for the price. The picture is nice and clear and the colors are bright. Setting it up was a breeze with onscreen, step by step instructions. The one downside is that I wish there was a way to sync the Roku remote with my Direct TV remote because the volume is on the Roku remote and I need the other for channels, recording, etc. Otherwise, I'm very pleased.

Picture is decent and having Netflix and roku included without any extra devices or hdmis is really nice.

This tv has everything needed to cut the cord. It's easy to use and intuitive. The picture is good - better of course than the 6 yo tv it replaced - and in addition we can play video games on it without the lag the old tv had. So,it's a good multipurpose smart tv that is a great price and a great size. The remote has shortcut buttons to Sling tv, Hulu, and Netflix, which is also handy. We paired it with a JBL sound bar but the volume was fine without it.

I upgraded from a 32” standard tv to this 55” Smart tv and I love it. I use it mostly for Netflix and video games. Currently I have a PlayStation and Nintendo Switch hooked up to it and it switches back and forth from them seamlessly without having to turn them off. It comes with a remote that has way less buttons than a regular tv remote and is really simple. You can also download the Roku app and use your phone as a remote. I highly recommend this TV!

The TCL TV’s are a good tv for the price. All the apps you need and want are available. I have no complaints with the setup process and ease of use. The only problem I have is that every so often, the tv freezes up and reboots on its own. There’s no known reason why and I tech support wasn’t able to give us an answer why it does it.

Great picture & easy to setup. Only thing is remote is too little for me. I prefer bigger remote control.

Picture is clear. Sound is good, and the smart tv functions work great. Really like watching 4K movies on it.

Got this on sale about a month ago. The panel is quite good, although not super bright. Speakers are not as bad as some I've heard, but a sound bar would improve the experience a lot. The built in Roku is nice, but does not have the voice remote so searching can be laborious. The private listening mode in the Roku app is great for watching tv without disturbing others in the house.

Love. I'd said I wouldn't get flat screen until older tv went out... not. Had to purchase flat screen because cable connections does not connect to older tvs.. so. Tv able to do many advanced things.
