While at first I was impressed, over time I started noticing a few things that I don't like. Primarily this TV has a problem with backlight bleed. Now, I recognize this is sometimes could be just the specific unit I have, I plan on bringing it back to the store and getting a replacement unit. The bleed started in the corners of the screen and started working its way inward, its easy to tell where the screen gets light towards the center of the unit and gets extremely dark around the edges. The second issue I have is the 3.5mm AUX output is pretty pitiful, I have it hooked up to a speaker system, and there's this constant hum that plays over it - I just purchased a DAC unit and I'll see if the digital audio output quality is any better.

Backlight broke after 2 years

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Backlight stopped working out of nowhere, hundreds of people have the same problem, my complaints to the BBB did nothing, TCL social media and support offered no help other then to reset my TV. They should at least give me the option to pay to have it fixed, or offer guidance on how to repair it myself. Look this TV up on Google, it is insane how common the issue is and they act like it isn't because of their faulty manufacturing. Don't support this brand.
