Solid performance, excellent price point
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this for a small office conference room. It’s used primarily for a computer to connect to, but people so,etimes stream video from it or use a blu-Ray DVD player. It’s perfect and we like it because th Roku interface always has the inputs easily displayed for people to select.

Picture fine, sound not so much
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Terrific picture for the price and the seamless Roku is a great plus. But...the audio isn't good. Sounds almost garbled. Have to use a soundbar and even then it's difficult to decipher some dialogue

Good TV for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You get what you expect for this tv. We used it to display CCTV images for a client. Only complaint, when you first turn TV on you have to keep selecting the input you want, not a fan of that. Maybe a setting to turn that off - but we haven't found it.

Posted .Hi WIFIGuy,
You can set your TCL Roku TV to power on to a specific input. You would need to do the following: Go to Home>Settings>System>Power>Power On>Select HDMI #1 (or which ever option you want the TV to power on to). Hope this helps!
Thank you,
Sara

Very pleased so far
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV was on sale and the original price was already reasonable. I read several reviews and found this unit to be acceptable. So far, no problems. I guess time will tell. We added an extended warranty just to be sure. Sales person was very helpful.

Great TV!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great TV! I was in the market to buy a TV on Black Friday but this deal came up a few days before and was well within my budget. It was very easy to set up and get started. The staff at Best Buy were extremely helpful especially at a busy time of year. This TV has everything I need!

Like the streaming from internet on this tv
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I moved to MI last fall, but came back to AZ for the winter. I set up the tv and hooked to the internet to have streaming capabilities. I will go back in a month or 5 weeks and reconnect. I have heard there is a way to get local channels and will take care of that then.

Works well w/Antenna
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical with TCL brand. Bought it for a bed room; pretty light weight. Has the output that works for my WII. This tv gets multiple over the air channels that I did not get with old tv - so kudos to that. I like the tv since I download apps and do streaming for my kids.

Nice video quality, terrible speakers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although the price was great, the speakers are terrible. They seem to rattle when the sound frequency is lower - my guess is the hardware is cheap and poorly constructed. Aside from the speakers, the video quality is good and the Roku interface intuitive.

TV lasts Under 2 years!! Do Not Purchase!!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I spoke very highly of this tv, I loved that it was cheap and 4K BUT I purchased on 10/25/18 and the tv screen went completely black at 08/26/20 I tried all trouble shooting and nothing worked. It appears these TVs are Notorious for the Back lights going and each back light has a different number and it’s a PAIN to take apart and replace, I finally took it all apart and I am pretty handy but the light strips I have on this 2018 tv they do not make anymore so now I am stuck with nothing! Just a shame.

Great TV for the Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Initially went into Best Buy to purchase another unit. Thankfully the sales rep steered me to this TV. I wasn't expecting much from a $400 TV, but this exceeds my expectations. Only complaint is sound quality, but that's what sound bars are for.

Great TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 4th TCL Roku TV. I was not sure about the brand when I purchased my first, but I am very happy with them. They are a great TV for me. I am not a sports fan, so I don’t know how it would work with sports, but it’s great for what I use it for.

Nice tv
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a nice TV. The only problem I've had is that it randomly will display colors, red, yellow, green, blue, and white when turned on. The only way I'm able to get it to stop and display properly is if I unplug it and plug it back in.

Great deal
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this tv for my daughter as a gift for her first apartment. She doesn't have cable, but uses it with her Roku, to watch her Amazon and Netflix shows. Colors are vibrant and since her appt is small, she doesn't need amplified speakers. She loved it. Good product for the buck

Great Quality!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Definitely a great buy. This tv has great image quality and the price is acceptable. Highly recommend. Also durable. The tv was hit by a soccer ball a kid kicked at it, right at the center of the screen, and nothing happened to the screen.

great price for a nice size TV.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.only problem i had was the out of sync audio. i found out that only the receiver needs to be set at Dolby digital. i read a lot of people had that problem. no one had the answer to fix it so i did some diagnostics on my own and found the cause and answer. great TV.

Good picture but bad sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture quality of the TV was good but the sound quality was less than desirable. I took it back and got the Sony which I love. This one would be ok if you have a sound bar.

TCL TVs are garbage.
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TCL tvs are complete garbage - you get what you pay for. For the life of the TV it would often go black with no video and could be fixed by a factory reset. After barely two years the problem is permanent and cannot be fixed - and of course its now out of warranty. Do not waste your money on any TCL products they do not work properly and do not last.

Great TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I normally stick to the name brand Tvs but when I was researching to for last TV this brand kept popping up. It has lots of the features of the poplar brand much cheaper. The TV is perfect for wall mounting. Sound quality it's average but a sound bar can fix that
