Bought this for my father, great Roku integration, no need for additional boxes. Picture quality is not as other major brands, not very bright or sharp, but for the price it is a great feature TV.

I recently purchased a 55' inch TCL smart tv. I was really excited to set everything up and enjoy my tv. After opening the box and screwing the legs on I proceeded to turn on the tv. There were lines and streaks covering the top and right side of the television. Of course I was disappointed to see this since it was a brand new tv but I contacted Best Buy and they immediately scheduled someone to come out and exchange the tv. I give Best Buy a 5 for good customer service but a 3 rating on the tv for the malfunction. Overall it's a nice design and appears to be a great tv.

Awesome TV for the price you’re paying. Has all the apps I need and has a pleasurable to use interface. I thought I’d be upset with the screen when I received it based on reviews throughout the web, but it pleasantly surprised me.

This TV worked very well while it worked. Less then two years into ownership however the backlight panel must have went bad because the image became impossible to see. It just looked like a black screen but you can hear the sound of clicks from moving around the Roku Home Screen. Very disappointing. Don’t think I’ll be buying TCL again. Hisense seems much better

It's a good TV for the price. Two bad things I found: 1- remote not universal 2-speakers on TV are back facing so the sound quality goes down.

Don’t buy this brand, they say it’s normal to have white spots. The TV is brand new. Already has white spots in background.

Horrible video quality compared to other brands for the price. Sound is decent (worth the price.) TCL had to come replace a part 4 months after purchase, and again the SAME part a year lately and now i'm out of warranty. This was a known defect they stated and still wanted to replace it so i'm sure i'm about to go through hoops to get them to take care of this honestly. I would highly recommend coughing up the extra money so you don't end up RENTING a low quality TV but buying a good one that will LAST years. Not 6 months, that's a big red flag.

If you are looking for a smart toll on a budget with all th online content it’s a great tv the speakers are the only thing that keep this from 5 stars

First time purchasing the TCL brand and have been using for about a month and so far no complaints or issues. Perfect for my living space to watch sports and utilize the different functionalities built in to the TV.

Haven’t had that many issues! Very smooth running tv, picture is great! Only issue is that it sometimes freezes and doesn’t respond for about 3-5 minutes

Great tv! We purchased for our living room and couldn’t be happier. We do notice some connection issues periodically but nothing I wouldn’t purchase again for.

Great tv for what we need it for . However you are not allowed to Bluetooth anything with it unless you set up external speakers . That’s about the only complaint I have with the TV.

A week ago I probably would have written a rave about this t.v. unfortunately the screen recently went blank. It went blank yet there is still sound. After trying every trick i could find online it still was blank. I called a local repair shop. And found out it is possible that the backlights needs fixed. or a new mother board. Or both. My extended warranty just expired. I have only had this tv 3 years and one week. For the cost of repairs, I may as welll purchase a new tv.

I've owned Samsung, Sony, Toshiba, LG and Insignia Tv's and I'm telling you now that this TV here has it all and for a price that simply puts it above the rest. I have 2 actually so what are YOU waiting for???

I’ve had the Tv for about 4 months now and it has been nothing less than great for our Netflix YouTube and streaming workouts with all of the Apps it offers. It has been a perfect fit for me and my family.

You never really know how much youre missing until you buy this ultra advanced chalkboard.now i have somewhere to write my string theory formulas while i watch my box tv. Best investment ever that old box tv

2 years later and I still have my TV if u ever have a sound problem make sure the power plug is pushed all the way in the back of the TV I had this problem but its working 100

It is a fine TV for the price. I like the Roku TV but the quality of the picture is not all that great. However, it does the job.

Nice television that has good features and does not disappoint. Everything you would expect from a TV that is priced under $400.

I bought 2. I put them side by side on my porch for football. You can’t beat the performance for the money. It’s not as good as my others but it’s also 1/4 the price
