Picture very good. Setup was easy. Remote is very basic which is a little odd. Overall very satisfied.

this thing looks AMAZING to me. I'm upgrading from a 9 year old Vizio LCD TV and have no complaints at all about this TCL. The price was great and the picture looks fantastic compared to my old set. Yes, obviously you can see the difference when comparing a $350 (price I paid for it) TV to a $1300 one, but if you're even considering paying a grand for a television, then you're not considering this one at all. I'd highly recommend this set.

Changing service provider and decided to upgrade tv while doing so. First saw this tv at a competitor, ask their guy about it since I wasn't familiar with the brand. When I got serious I always check Best Buy to compare prices. The built in Roku is outstanding and when I added Amazon Prime I had more than I could watch. Older other tv showing signs of going out and will replace with the same brand but 65" screen.....

If you can catch this on sale, it is a lot of TV for the money. Good picture, solid sound and most smart functions (except mirroring). As others have said, the remote is a small Roku, but I am usually using the cable remote. It comes with the Roku screen as the factory default when you turn it on, but you can change that in settings. At $379, it’s hard to beat for a 55 inch TV Right now.

The price was great on this TV under $400 for 55 inch smart TV 4K definitely the way to go

TCL TVs are a good bargain and have good picture quality, but you get what you pay for. This is the second TCL 55” I have purchased. It will be my last. On average, they last about 2 years before they just go out on you. My first one stoped working in about 2-21/2 years. I thought it might have just been a defective tv, so I decided to take a chance on another one because I liked the cost and that it came with Roku already installed. I purchased my second TCL in May of 2019. It is now May 2021. Now the second one has stopped working. That’s not great quality in my opinion. Pay some more for a better quality tv. It will save you money (and headaches) in the long run.

Have only had it up for about 1 month but really a great set for the price. I bought it to use outdoors. Figured for the price, I can replace 4 of these before spending the same amount as 1 outdoor rated TV. Biggest fear was if the sound would get loud enough without a sound bar, and happy to say the send gets plenty load for my outdoor living space. Picture is fantastic, although I have not tested the 4K capability.

Was looking into getting a 55" 4k TV, was deciding between a comparable LG and Insignia, luckily I went into the store and the sales rep showed us this option which was priced in between the other 2 options. Setup was super easy and navigation with the Roku system is simple. It's very light and the sound is surprisingly good. I'm sure you could spend more and get a better picture but for the price, this is great.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the picture for such a low price. Unlike my last TV which used a roku stick, the app starts up very quickly..actually immediately so there is no wait to watch TV. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I wish Roku would put number buttons on the remote so you can go directly to the channel you want to watch.

I'm a little bit of a TV snob. I own a Sony 55" & a 43" 4K sets. My mothers older 50" Panasonic Plasma died in Florida (great TV) She's no videophile. I decided to give this TCL a try based on price. Stand set-up was a snap, looked-up some video settings online & it was up & running in no time flat. Love the remote! Simple yet effective. BTW...If you're using the Comcast's X1 DVR this TCL TV code is 11756 Worked like a charm. The off viewing angle is tough because it's a VA panel. No biggie. It's better in a darker room, but the picture really isn't bad @ all. Watched a little "House of Cards" in 4K & it really didn't disappoint. If you're in the market for an inexpensive 4K 55" then you should consider this TCL.

TCL came highly recommended from friends and family. Was skeptical at first, but worth the price. Having Roku pre-built in the TV makes super easy as I do not have a cable.

When my tv broke I saw this tv on sale! This is the third TCL I’ve bought my first 4K. Roku smart TVs are great but this 4K picture puts this tv over the top! I love it!

This model is large enough to view across the room. By streaming NetFlix and cable I avoid needing cable, for more savings.

Don’t get me wrong, you can pay more and get more bells and whistles, but my Dad just wanted a bigger TV that was 4K. He didn’t need all the extras. This is a great tv for the price we paid. It actually includes some extra features like Roku that only added to the appeal of this TV. If you are looking for basic 4K tv at a great price that delivers what it says it will, this is your tv.

I was a little hesitant because I was not familiar with this brand, but I have not been disappointed. Great picture, and the price was reasonable for a 4K smart TV.
