    Purchased this tv for our living room in Sep 2018. 3 years later the backlight on it has died. Google shows this is a common problem with TCL and my mother-in-law had a similar issue with her 32" TCL. Glad I purchased the extended warranty through BestBuy, When it comes time for my next tv, I will NOT be getting TCL.

    I purchased this TV to replace an old Samsung and ROKU 3. I would give this a higher rating if not for the numerous issues connecting and staying connected to WiFi. There is a wired Ethernet port so I was able to work around it. Otherwise, it’s a good 55” TV for the cost.
