The picture was not as I expected with the new technology. My regular 4K TV gave better resolution, I thought. Easy to assembly. Setup on the TV is tedious. Returned it. Forgot the remote and got charged for it.

I must say buying this TV was a mistake. 1. The remote has no numbers. NO NUMBERS??? Meaning that one has to scroll through all the channels to get to the one you want. 2. Set-up takes hours because of AWFUL PROGRAMMING. Roku forces the user to sit through the download of 63 paid/streaming channels whether you want them or not. They ask and demand answers to personal questions about your household. There is no escape from this endless nonsense. I don't care how good the picture is. DO NOT BUY this waste of time.

Sorry for your frustration with your tv. You should know that during the set up process, you can select which streaming channels (Amazon, Netflix, YouTube. Etc) are installed On your TV. The typical set up process typically 10 to 15 minutes.., You can simply remove them with just a few keystrokes. Hope that helps. If you have any questions, we are here to help. Feel free to reach out to us. Thanks, TCL support

1st one purchased on 8/30/17, died 2019. 2nd one purchased 4/25/19, died 2021. Both time something went wrong with the video, first time the screen was extremely low in brightness, the 2nd time video went out completely. Several menu items do not retain their settings, e.g. when selecting to have close captioning on mute, it only works 1 time and then the TV forgets it. Geek Squad warranty gives us the run-around, not as good as other warranty companies. Long wait times for service (about 9 days).

I regret to inform any who might be concerned that my TCL Roku 55 inch has died, October 22, 2020. It was 23 months old, having been purchased here at Best Buy in November 2018. In depth conversation with technicians at TCL resulted in, "Sorry." I am sad and not sure I want to spend money on a TV with such a limited lifespan. RIP TV. Maybe the COVID virus got you - but I GOTTA have a TV, being in lockdown! Expressions of sympathy are welcome but no flowers please.

Good picture quality and speed through features, however, sometimes it gets hung up and will turn on with no picture. I have to unplug it to get it to work again

Bought this tv because it was about $350. There was also a Samsung available at the time on sale for about $400. Both had the same specs on the box, so decided to try the TCL since it was cheaper. First of all, the color quality is HORRIBLE. It is far from true to natural color and couldn’t be adjusted properly. Also, the resolution quality was severely lacking, and couldn’t upscale the picture nearly as well as it should have. Also had issues with light spots on the screen. Long story short, we returned it and bought the Samsung nu6900 for $50 more and got a MUCH better TV and picture quality.

This TV was a pretty good value for the money. It had a decent Picture . The sound could have been better but for a budget TV it was pretty good. This was up until last night 15 months from date of purchase and the picture went out completely. Tried reseting the TV but nothing helped.

TCL is a joke, they sell garbage TV's that wont hold up to a simple relocation. Yesterday I was relocating this tv to bedroom, and upon turning it on the screen was somehow cracked, the worst part is you call them to help remedy, and they put the blame on you for breaking the egg shell thin screen. Wish I could rate 0 stars. Do yourself a favor, buy from a different company.
