    Heard a lot of good things about tcl. Did a lot of research. The price was right but the unit was defected. Had to spend a little more and get an Sammy. I am sure some of the tcls are great but I must have got an bad one. I am sure if you buy insurance for this tv you shouldn't worry. Best Buy had an good enough return policy so I took advantage and got an better tv. Thanks Best Buy.

    It’s ok, cheap value, quality of picture is ok, the tv itself freezes quite often, but it’s a cheap tv

    Tv backlighting died after just 3 years and 1 month of 2-3 hour daily use. Local repair shop gave me an estimate of $200-$300 to repair if he could find the light strips needed, which is slightly lower than a new tv. OS got slower and slower with each update, had to constantly reboot tv to speed it up and keep it from hanging. I will not purchase another tcl product ever again. This set was babied with very light usage in a crystal clean and temperature controlled ideal environment, no dust, no excessive heat. Very disappointed.

    My TVs led back light failed in less than two years and I am not an isolated case. A bunch of my friend's bought same TV and expect for one rest of the TVs met same fate. With such short longevity all this TV doing is contributing to more e-waste that's it.

    Setting up the soundbar was slightly difficult. Also, finding channels to watch was a little tricky.

    I was expecting a vibrant picture. When the lights are off at night the picture seems to worsen. The light colors blend in with the brighter colors. I tried changing the contrast and adjusting all the screen options, yet was not successful in making the picture more appealing to the eye.

    Stay away! First time buying a tcl and will never buy again. Had multiple issues throughout the year. But for some reason every time I would call tech the thing would start working. And ofcourse, the day after the warranty is over the tv is no useless. Picture has gone dark and red. Cant believe bestbuy sells this junk.

    This TCL tv lasted only about a year before the back light went out. Found out this is a problem with these. Too darn expensive to repair. Now just taking up space in my shed. I guess you get what you pay for.

    I purchased the TV 5 years ago and it has worked very well, good picture quality, decent sound. It is a little slow to load, we turn it on and it takes from 30 seconds to 1.5 minutes to load, not sure why the discrepancy, but that can get pretty annoying. Fast forward 5 years and this past weekend out TV no longer has power to it at all. It is DEAD! I have been searching online for answers and there are tons of tutorials on this issue and changing the power board. It seems like an easy fix and pretty cheap (about $30) so I will be trying that. If that does not fix the issue, I would not hesitate in buying another TLC.

    Blacks are washed out, glare makes it hard to see anything. TV finally broke, no picture. TCL customer service is a joke. Told me to just buy an other tv.
