Great internet TV, good speakers for just TV, albeit I do have a 1200 watt surround, but when just TV at Dinner or background is just fine, I do not know why someone would complain about the speakers they are only 5w, what do you expect? Anyhow, I recommend and have bought another to replace a bedroom unit. I love the 32g (sold Seperate) Flash drive that allows Pause TV for 90 min I think it is. And then chops the oldest recording to take the new stuff on. Great for Network TV, Tune in, Pause, go do chores or dinner, come back and FF through the relentless commercials.

I purchased my TCL Roku TV back on June 11th, 2018. The back light just went out this week and that is the only reason that I am giving this a 4 star instead of 5 stars. Besides the TV not working now, it was an excellent television. Very easy to understand and use.
I tried myself to repair my television but to no avail. I viewed a repair video on YouTube and it said that I am better off to buy a new one versus getting this one repaired, due to cost factors.

This is my 4th TCL TV. I bought this model for my parents because they can't really tell the difference in TV quality and are more concerned about price. They mainly use it to watch youtube. The quality is still really great and you cant beat the built in Roku! You can do so much with this TV.

I’ve had this for about 9 months. Used daily for general tv watching, video games, and streaming content - no problems to date. It didn’t take long to set up, easy to use apps like Netflix and YouTube, and the picture’s nice. I was happy to find apps for services I was looking for without any issue, Hoopla - a streaming service available free through my local library, Grokker - a streaming fitness app available through my employer, and I browsed and added other things per my interests. If you compare picture quality at the store, it’s not as crisp as some of the higher priced brands, but it doesn’t have the price tag either. If you want a large smart tv that doesn’t break the bank, this is definitely worth the price. I’m very happy with purchase.

Full array led 4k for under $500? Uhh yes please and a surprisingly excellent picture that definitely competes with my lg uh7700 4k. Lighting and contrast are amazing and tons of apps. Cons: not the smoothest picture if you have a high end tv already to compare it to. Buttons on remote could be placed better.

My M.I.L. had a 25 year old TV that desperately needed replacement. This was perfect for her. With the built in Roku it allows one remote to handle broadcast local TV as well as Netflix, Prime, etc. Great picture and sound for this price range, easy setup, and intuitive functionality.

Before you move on to check the rest of my review I want to say that I'm not very critical about things for the most part. However, I always do very meticulous research before buying anything, in this case a TV. In my opinion I think this TV is definitely worth getting considering the quality/cost ratio. You won't regret buying this. In general, it displays 4k and HDR content very well, the audio is average(I suggest buying a speaker set), the Roku system is one of the biggest highlights I would say. Roku makes navigating through your channels and system so much easier and when you get the app you can listen to whatever you're watching on the tv through your phone just by plugging in your earphones and turning on the setting with the headphone symbol on it. It also doesn't lag if you're playing FPS games on your console as long as you have good wifi. Overall great TV to have in your home and its minor flaws can be corrected just by getting for example a speaker device to improve the sound.

Good color when watching movies on dvd or cable tv, good sound, but the color quality is different when you're on different apps such as playstation, youtube, etc.. Also, the remote has VERY LITTLE buttons. Otherwise it is a good smartTV for the price. 55" for $370

I bought this for my Master Bedroom to replace an older model. I have a Sony Bravia 4K in the living room and this TCL isn’t far off. I would say it is definitely worth the price if you can’t afford the $2000 or $3000 models by Sony or Samsung. The Roku feature is also a great feature.

After checking both online reviews and with tech’s in the store I decided to buy this television. The picture is great and the colors also. With ROKU included I have all the apps that I need. This is not a smart TV that has connectivity via apps that are on the TV. Works great

You'd be hard pressed to find a better picture, built in Roku etc. without spending $250 more for the same size. It isn't "reference standard" or my Sony xbr that I spent a lot more money on, but If you aren't a brand snob save the $$ and buy it
like I did.....you'll be pleasantly surprised

I had not heard alot about TCL when I first bought this tv. The picture quality is really nice. We have used this TV for just over a year with no problems. It has nice sound and I like the ease of using ROKU as the smarts behind this smart tv.

I got this tv just for my visitors because I haven’t watch tv it’s been over 4 years now (don’t have une for it) and they like it. The only flaws are that you have to consistently adjust the sound which is sometimes too low or too high and somehow the remove direct you to direct tv and you have to wait a while for the tv to be back on track. I don’t know why is that.
Overall great!

This probably was the cheapest TV from a reliable company.
But does ALMOST everything what I wanted, and picture quality is very good (for the price)
If I could ask for more, I would have wanted a motion smoothing option, and a DVI input. (tho I maybe asking too much for the price)
