    This tv turn itself on and goes to prime app for me to sign in. I am sleep and it comes on through the night I turn it off it will come right back on. Can't understand

    DON'T BUY WITHOUT RESEARCHING!!!

    I bought my 55" in 2017 and it was working great! I chose to buy the 65" as well. Recently my 55" lost the picture and only had sound. I did all of the resets recommended in TCL's site. I sat for what seemed like hours turning the TV on and off. Eventually it got a picture. Now, the picture is completely gone. Warranty has obviously expired. Now to find a new TV or find a repair man to fix the TV? Ugh! Not cool TCL! My Coby TV ran for the longest time. Less than 2 years and this TV is junk!!!

    Broken after 6 months

    This is a fantastic TV when operating properly. It is a purchase where you get a great "bang for your buck" -- the 4k resolution, sleek design, and ROKU capabilities are all very impressive. However, the television eventually began experiencing problems and now the screen will not display anything. I understand bad luck, but this problem appears to be widespread. There are countless online forum posts about this issue with TCL televisions. The fix for the problem typically involves a new part and/or a technician to work on the television.

    was 100% happy with purchase for first 3 years then the screen just went black and it never worked again,after looking on youtube it appears to be a very common problem dont buy this unless your going to replace it in 3 to 4 years... not happy

    TCL ROKU TV is a complete waste of your money

    After having my TCL for only two years, my TV is not able to stream movies. I called TCL to trouble shoot my TV and they told me that I have a defective TV and that my mother board and wi fi board is defective. Since I don't have an extended warranty, they won't fix it. They wouldn't even send a repair man and service their defect. How dare this be my problem since it's their defect. How dare them sell me a TV that doesn't last more than 24 months. Don't buy this TV unless you want to waste your money!!!

    Beware of CHEAP TCL PRODUCTS

    Beware of the Cheap TCL products. I am from KOCHI Kerala and last Aug 2020 I bought 2 TCL LED TV 43S6500FS from Reliance Digital - Oberon Mall. It's not even a 1 year both the TVs crashed. The TVs don't turn on anymore. I called the customer support who sent a local technician who after checking said the problem was with the display and will be replaced in 2 weeks time. After 4 weeks it's still not fixed,when I called the customer support now they say it's gonna take another 40 days.... 27k for one TV....Its total waste. I NEED MY MONEY BACK OR THE TV REPLACED FULLY not just the DISPLAY. THIS HAS BEEN SUCH A JOKE FROM TCL. All my friends and family suggested that we buy SONY or atleast SAMSUNG. BUT WE MADE A MISTAKE BY BUYING THIS BRAND. IF ANYONE FROM TCL IS READING THIS PLS HAVE THE COURTESY TO CALL ME AND GET THIS FIXED. CHRIS REJINOLD 8589 8589 91.

    Slow connection

    Purchased this to 'cut the cord.' Terrible connection processing. I've checked my internet connection several ways and know I'm getting 200 mbps plus speed, but TV is constant buffering across different apps.. Have tried to work with TCL-worthless. Clock responses with a calendar. Then you get a new person working on it and they have you go through their standard response list all over again. Two months between my last email and their response. Never again.

    Short Term Solution

    If your looking for a short term solution for a tv this is it! Purchased 4/6/18 warranty expired 4/5/2020 black screen 1/17/2021. Looked online and tried all the suggestions to fix and even called TCL support no use

    I purchased the tv in October 2019. In December 2020 the screen went black. The warrenty was for one year. Customer service rejected my request for assistance. Tv lasted less than 6 weeks longer than the warranty.

    This TV as soon as you but it you would feel that is a great TV and it was a great deal. However, then you realize that after 2 years or so you would have to throw it away. The screen will turn black, audio may or may not work and when you call TCL customer service, they will tell you that is out of warranty, which I understand, but if you type in your browser “My TCL TV no video” you will find a lot of cases with the same issue. So I you want a inexpensive smart TV. TCL is not the one!!! Unfortunately I owned 2, and 1 of them doesn’t work, there’s no video most of the time but will sound. Randomly you will turn it on and it will work. Terrible quality and even worse customer service.

    I bought this TV for a friend for her birthday, not even two years the TV stop working. Too bad the insurance was already expired. No more TCL for me!

    tried everything to fix it and the back panel seems to be an issue because when using a flashlight the TV when on is is extremely dark. now i either could try replacing the lights/boards within the tv or simply toss it and buy a new one. its easier for me to replace it, however im extremely angry its already broken, haven't owned it that long. i bought the TV on Jan 30th 2019 and its Feb 16th 2022! WHY DID THE THING LITERALLY ONLY LASTED 3 YEARS AND 16 DAYS?!?!? WASTED MY MONEY, NO TV SHOULD BREAK DOWN THAT EARLY AND OBVIOUSLY TCL CAN NO LONGER HELP.

    I purchased last year's verison, 55P78705, on 11/25/17. At that time I paid 599.00. The first year it worked ok no problems. Today 12/24/18, one month after the warranty expires it's dead. I went to turn it on and nothing. No power. My guess the mother board died. Spend a few dollars more and get a brand name and a extended warranty and you won't have a 55" black hanging your wall

    You get what you pay for

    I bought this to replace a 6 year old Samsung LED 5 series. I should have kept my old TV. The picture is not crisp or clear. The LED backlighting is blotchy and not uniform. There are no settings to adjust picture quality other than the brightness. After one week of disappointment I will be returning this product for a different brand.

You can access the Options menu on the TV by pressing the asterisk (*) button on your remote while watching content. Additionally, you can access advanced picture settings by downloading the free Roku mobile app on a smartphone or tablet. The Roku mobile app works as a remote and allows you to access additional features like voice search, private listening, advanced picture settings, and more. .     Terrible

    This device did not work properly out the box. There was a bright light that would come on and then the tv did not respond. I thought this was just the tv being slow and it took some time to come on for that price. Then it happened for days at a time. The company that makes the tv has terrible customer service that advised me to take the device to a repair shop to get it fixed. I had the tv almost a year when this has been happening out the box. I would stick with Westinghouse or Vizio if your looking for cheap but good.

    Waste of money

    I purchased a 55” TCL TV. The TV didn’t make it 2 years. One day I turned it on and I had nothing but a black screen. I called their customer service and they said the warranty is only for one year so they will not fix the TV. I went to the better business bureau website and saw many complaints for the same issue and the business will not make it right for any of the complaints. I had to spend more money on another TV. If I would have known I would have spent the bigger money the first time and got a better TV. I will never purchase another TCL.

    Great price, horrible picture

    I purchased two of these tvs today, a 49" and 55". My daughter seems to be happy with her 49" but the 55" seems to have a worse picture. It was to replace an older Phillips LCD tv and the Phillips by far had a greater picture than this TCL.

      Sorry you haven't experience the great picture for most users have found. Have you tried going through the advanced picture settings, or even the experts picture settings on the free Roku mobile app? Many customers have been able to get an excellent picture but we can that's adjustments. Even better than out-of-the-box !

    Defective Television Leg

    I purchased this television a month ago. Came home from work. And the television was fell off the television stand because the tv leg was broken. This cause the television to crack. Now the company is not willing to repair the television. TCL states I'm liable for the defective part. Horrible experience. I DON'T RECOMMEND this television.

    Died too soon.

    We were watching TV and it just went black. The TV lasted barely over 3 years. The TV we had before that only died because movers broke pixels.
