We purchased 2 of these TV's back in June. Loved them so much bought another one for the bedroom. I am a horrible insomniac. When I lay down at night I take my glasses off and have trouble focusing on writing and small objects so my husband bought me this 55 inch. The picture is incredible. It's crystal clear. I can watch it without my glasses and not get a headache. He drifts off to sleep and I watch tv without disturbing him.

Bought this TV October 14, 2017. Beautiful picture, Roku built in is great, handles Xbox One X with no lag. Felt great with my purchase. Then December 27, 2017, POP.... TV dies. Contact TCL, troubleshoot with no luck. Wait a week for technician. Tech says powerboard was fried. Replace powerboard, turns on but no picture. Determines backlighting was fried too. Submits his findings to TCL reccomending replacement TV, we get called 24 hours later by TCL saying they are replacing it. Figure overnight me a new set, right? Nope, they send new TV to technician who then brings it to me and takes old one. In 7-10 business days. NOT IMPRESSED TCL! May be a lemon but if a TV dies after 2 and a half months I certainly expect quick and efficient replacement! Will not buy TCL again. Hard to beat the value but I will spend the extra money next time for a more reliable TV from a company who takes care of their customers.

was looking for a new tv and this one was withing my budget. i thought it was going to hate it. yet i am very surprised. colors are pretty good and so are blacks, i did notice a bit of uneven blacks on the screen but what are you to expect, this tv cannot be compared with thousand dollar tv's. this is a budget friendly smart tv that you are probably going to use for netflix and gaming. i would say give it a shot.

Bought this for my mother to replace an old rear projector TV. Nice picture and easy to use.

Great tv for the price! Very user friendly.....only thing is sound quality but I already had a sound bar.

TCL makes a great tv for under $400. The features you get for that little money with other conpanies are nothing in comparison. The picture is great, & installed apps are very convenient. This is my second TCL tv, & I have to say that I am surprised by the quality of the picture. It’s not as good as some of the larger companies, but great for a fraction of the cost. Will buy again!

This tv is perfect! Especially for the price and all that it includes! We love the roku that was included!

Great picture quality great sound and best of all the price

Owned this TV for about 15 days and the display went out. Sound works, but... picture is gone. Did all the troubleshooting steps.. going to return this and pay the extra money for one that will last. The picture quality was fine and then it just went out... too bad I live so far from a bestbuy... :(.

I love my new TLC tv. I was kind of iffy about buying this tv to be used mainly for my PS4 and I wasn’t sure about the motion rate. But I took a chance on it, and it didn’t disappoint!

Great sound and picture..easy remote use and adapts to all devices

The picture quality is excellent, and the sound is good. It has a very good user interface, the sound level is in the upper right corner so it does not interfere with most of the picture. Options and settings are easy to see and change. Occasionally, the set will freeze and do nothing just like a computer - power off/on usually fixes that. This is the reason I gave it only 4 stars.

We have had this TV for almost 4 years. I am so glad that the salesperson helped us pick out the best TV that fit our needs. It is still easy to plug in any device that has come along. I can even use ROKU, cable, antenna, Apple TV, ChromeCast, Bluetooth, headphones, etc. without a lot of up to date tech knowledge.

Very clear picture and extremely user friendly! Would definitely buy another one if needed.
