At a great price. Lots of features, great picture, even outside

I’m a huge fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and could not wait to own my copy of The Avengers Infinity Wars. When coupled with my ultra 4K 55” television, I was literally blown away with the picture clarity and quality. I even bought my mom in Chicago the same set up so that she could enjoy the movie quality on her new big screen

I bought this out of nessity as my 55” Samsung was damaged during our move and went out and bought the TCL 55” that same night. I like the TV although the viewing angle is not the greatest. It’s fine for my bedroom, which we have a straight on view. The Roku is nice too. Can’t beat it for under $400.

This TV has a fantastic picture and was very easy to set up

Our son (a techie) recommended this TV to us and we were not disappointed. In spite of it's large size, the picture is clean and crisp and the colors vivid. The sound is very good quality too, no fuzzy or tinny overtones. We prefer watching movies at home to going out with this TV.

I bought this TV to replace a Sharp 50' TV I recently bought but got damaged. I find that the picture quality is a little better on the TCL than the Sharp. They both have Roku functionality which I really go for. Overall its a good system for the price I paid. Didn't have any higher expectations.

Cheap TV with an awesome quality and sound! Very easy to use

This is my 2nd TCL and it is having the same problems as my first. I love the picture but I don't understand why they both have failed within 2-3 years. At a certain point between the 2nd and 3rd year the TCL stops responding and cannot be reset. So much so that after the 1st failure I requested a Best Buy team look at it. They determined that it could not be fixed. I bought a 2nd one, this time with the protection plan and at the 2.5 year mark, my plan was for 2 years, it has now failed, picture is frozen, will not respond to the remote nor the reset feature on the back. None of my other TVs have failed. I have a total of 8 x TVs in my house and all are still working. Brand names include: Samsung, Sony, Westinghouse, and Magnavox. They range in age from 4 to 15 years and not once have I had to request service on them. Only the TCL has failed.

I bought this TV taking advantage of the Cyber Monday Deal. It is the first TV I have ever bought. I am not disappointed. Like most TVs these days, the built-in speakers are lacking in sound quality and volume, but the picture and smart capabilities are great. It works well and quickly, even on Wi-Fi (vs. being plugged directly into the modem).

I was very quick to recommend this TV to everyone believing I found a steal but I was wrong. 2 years in and very moderate use and it stopped turning for me. The screen turns on for half a second then just won’t come back on. TCL and Best Buy won’t do anything for me even after providing proof of purchase and saying I will literally pay for them to fix it. I’ll even bring in the store or do whatever... I spend thousands a year at Best Buy so really annoyed with this purchase. Will never buy a TCL again.
