Our TV went out and was looking for a new tv after reviews we went with the tcl 55" 4k smart tv has great picture and simple to get at up getting it on sale was a bonus would recomend over any tv.

Being a prior Roku user, the interface of all the programs was simple and familiar. Has a great picture. Not techies so I’m sure this TV is being much underutilized but it suits our needs perfectly.

I love the quality. Easy setup and the size was great, bigger than i expected. I would highly recommend it. I bought two TLC Tv’s here in different sizes and i was very satisfied with both.

This is my second TCL TV and it is great. Easy to set up and it is Roku ready so that makes it even a better buy. Great picture, sound and overall great tv. I would highly recommend this TV.

Good picture and sound. I personally think the menu is kinda not user friendly as in it doesn’t flow very well but not a deal breaker. My dad likes it very much

Picture and color is very good quality. Was not familiar with the brand but after reading the reviews thought I would buy. I have had it for 2 months and have no complaints.

I'm very please with this TV’s performance. Movies looks really good on this TV. Colors are Great however you will need a sound bar if you look for good sound.

I picked this TV up for $350 during a Black Friday sale. Was influenced by the Rtings.com reviews which said it was an excellent value. I have to 100% agree. You get a lot of great TV for a very low price. The TV is lightweight, provides excellent gaming performance, and I am a huge fan of Roku. A standalone 4K Roku is typically $100 alone! Again, remember this is a $350 TV. The Roku combined with Plex for home streaming movies works very well. Paired this TV with a XBOX One X and everyone enjoyed playing Call of Duty Black Ops 4 and Red Dead Redemption 2. I do wish the remote had the connection for headphones -- I always thought that was a very smart upgrade.

The TCL is a great brand! Clear picture& Sound! I was orginally just looking for a Smart T.V but came across the ROKU TCL, so many free channels& movies to explore controller very easy to use!

I put the tv in my bar for sports and event watching the price was good and the picture better I have a Samsung in my house and I would say the picture quality is just as good

Bought this TV on sale for my dad's birthday and he absolute loves it. It was a good upgrade from the old Sony non-smart TV. Don't need pay crazy money for good quality nowadays.

I absolutely love this tv because the picture quality is amazing. I have seen higher priced TVs with far less clarity than this one. This is definitely worth every cent and more.

I had to update my TV, this TV is great the colors are vibrant! The price is really great for what you get.

This tv has a great picture and all of the latest technology built into in. I would definitely recommend this tv! The only downside is the sound. It’s not that great.

I've owned this television for over a year and I'm to the point where I have to share my experience with other buyers. Like most, I was attracted to this TV by it's price. A 4K TV for only $300 seemed like a steal; however it hasn't lived up to the hype. I've been having issues with the TV since the day I first powered it up, but as an IT Engineer I like to give the vendor the benefit of the doubt. "Maybe it's a bug in the current version that will be patched in the update." "Maybe it just needs to be factory reset." None of these were the case. The issue with this TV is the design itself. The remote works ONLY in a "line-of-site" fashion and quite frequently freezes or lags beyond patience (I mean minutes). I've consistently had issues with the Netflix app crashing to the home screen. I've tried updating, restarting, factory resetting, you name it! The bottom line is this is a poorly designed television. I personally would recommend spending a little extra on a more quality device. I love technology and hate to speak badly about it, but SERIOUSLY, this is one to pass on. Spend a few extra bucks and get something of better quality.

Bought this because I knew I would need a T V and had a great sale on did not watch for a year finally put on wall in bedroom mad at myself for not doing it sooner great picture

I was skeptical of the TCL brand. Then I had a chance to watch one for about a week while visiting relatives. I purchased mine within a month of returning and couldn't be happier. For the money I spent it was a great deal. There was a speaker buzzing problem from the first one I brought home. Oddly, it buzzed during Gal Gadot's monologues in Wonder Woman. Must have just been the frequency of her voice. I then replicated the problem with another movie to confirm it wasn't just that disc. A quick trip back to Best Buy for a no-hassle replacement and no more buzz. Looking online, it appears this can be a problem with this model.
