I was skeptical of the TCL brand. Then I had a chance to watch one for about a week while visiting relatives. I purchased mine within a month of returning and couldn't be happier. For the money I spent it was a great deal. There was a speaker buzzing problem from the first one I brought home. Oddly, it buzzed during Gal Gadot's monologues in Wonder Woman. Must have just been the frequency of her voice. I then replicated the problem with another movie to confirm it wasn't just that disc. A quick trip back to Best Buy for a no-hassle replacement and no more buzz. Looking online, it appears this can be a problem with this model.

bought this tv during xmas for a little discount and it has been great so far. nice picture and great features. the speakers are not that great but its expected. recommend a sound bar

One month ago I bought an Insignia as was so pleased with the picture quality I returned to Best Buy to purchase a 2nd Insignia. The sales person all but refused to sell me what I wanted. He talked me into buying the TLC . In my opinion the TLC is not a bad purchase, the picture is of good quality. However the Insignia is better. The lesson I've learned, when I know what I want, get it. Would I recommend this television to someone; yes. Again, it's not a bad set. It's just not what I wanted.

I purchased this to replace my aging Samsung, and the picture is much better than expected! Movies are sharp, the colors are vibrant, and I think for the price it is my TV pic for under $500!

My boys wanted a bigger tv to watch the games . When i came home with a smart tv they were over the top. Beautiful picture and so many programs to choose from. Cant get them out of the room now.

Review summary says it all. Display on this tv is outstanding, the menu is very easy to navigate for beginners, and also very customizable. I'd buy another in a second if I needed another tv.

The 55" Class - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV Roku TV that I purchased at Best Buy has work very well thus far. Picture is good, and the Roku streaming is OK too!

Exceptional value. The video streaming from my laptop is great. We use it in the conference room with the team. Easy to connect, great quality picture and sound - just flawless.

Bought is as a Gift for my father In law on His 90th Birthday and to replace their old DLP TV. If they were to rate this TV they probably will give it a 4 1/2 stars. I know they are very happy with it, though the picture quality is not as good as the leading BRANDS it is well worth your money !!! If I recall correctly it has 2 HDMI inputs and the set up was real easy .. The MENU is easy to navigate.

I've never owned a $2000 TV to compare it to but it's all I need and the picture quality is more than good enough. For the $$$ you can't beat it. Now lets just see how long it lasts.

Have had this TV for over 2 years and it still runs great, the added roku tv also makes it super convenient to watch netflix and youtube with just a click of a button!

This TV has such great clarity it looks like you are there in the TV set it's so clear. I would recommend this TV to anyone who is looking for an above average TV at a good price.

I bought this TV for myself last Christmas and this mother''s day for my mom. It's a great tv. Quality and picture is awesome. I would purchase again if I needed more tvs!

I know they say you get what you pay for, and that may be true... However this tv preforms amazingly, the quality of video is outstanding and it's very easy to use!

I was skeptical at first but after watching this TV it is well worth the money. The picture is gorgeous and the streaming content is fantastic! Best Buy had the best price again! Bravo!

Great TV! It works wonderful! We have Apple TV on another TV in our home and this tv is actually easier to navigate and works just as good!

I needed to upgrade my LG tv to a 4k tv. I reviewed the LGs samsungs and sonys as possible canidates. However in order to have true hdr LG tv you needed to purchase the higher end. Same way with the other brands mentioned. The other factor in going with the TCL was the amount of channels or Apps you can download onto the TV. With sony it was a limit of 13??? And same with samsung and LG. Those were more chromecast based. The TCL has roku built in. With the amount of choices of shows to watch without cable or satellite TCL was the clear winner. Only con i have is the amount of HDMI inputs. Only has 3. Needed 4 but will have to get a HDMI splitter later.

We bought several of these TVs for our Sunday School classrooms. All of our teachers are quite pleased with them. The size is good for our people both young and old to see.

tv has very great picture quality compared to the other smart tvs ive owned remote is very easy to use and us straightforward sound is reall loud too very happy with my purchase
