As a disclaimer, I must admit I am not a techie or up to date on the latest technology. I purchased this tv to replace a much older tv as we wanted to upgrade to 4K. My sons love basketball and they really enjoy the picture quality on this. We have absolutely no complaints and this was a great product for the price.

For the price and features that this TV has it can’t be beat....

Excellent quality TV; we're really happy with it. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the TV options (in terms of adding other apps) are a bit confusing to navigate(even though the quick launch feature is great!), but otherwise straightforward.

This is an excellent TV. New brand so I was skeptical but pleasantly surprised. Love the smart ROKU feature which was also easy to set-up. Not to mention it shows a beautiful screen. Bought this TV for my mom and she loves it and has no problems working all the new features.

purchased this tv to replace our vizio that developed a bad mother board. so far this unit is performing very well. great picture , many features . good value for the price point. time will tell how long it works.

I always wait before i write a review because what may seem perfect and shinny and new may no be so as time goes by. So i am writing this review 16 months after purchase. I loved my new roku tv easy to set up, easy to interface with, great picture. and i would have given it 4 or 5 stars. UNTIL Suddenly one morning NO PICTURE. sound would work but zero picture. you could faintly see the roku logo dimly lit come on screen and then BLACK. I tried all the various reset options no change. i called the TCL help line and they had me do all the same resets a 2nd time and no change. I had purchased this on sale so when my amount is under a certain threshold i don't get the extended warranties so i knew it was out by 4 months. So the backlite is no longer working is what they said. So my rating is going down to a 1. not due to normal day to day use but due to the sudden failure and longevity of use. TV's should last longer then 16 months.

From the 4K picture to the built in Roku this made a great addition to my bedroom remodel. That and its a great value for the price. This product gets high marks all around.

I was a little skeptical to buy this tv after reading many reviews on amazon, CNET, and other review sites because it was a brand I've never heard of and a price on a 4K HDR tv that was a little hard to believe especially at 55". But I went with the gut but bought the extended warranty just to be safe. So, I'm very pleased with this tv I do a lot of gaming on it on my xbox one x and the picture is incredible. The interface on the tv is awesome and the fact that it is a smart tv is even better. I've only had it for a few weeks but this tv is awesome and if you are looking for a 4K HDR tv and don't want to pay the Samsung, LG, Sony prices I highly recommend this tv because you will not be let down on this one.

Great Picture and Sound. This TV offers a setting MENU to select Picture view for Sports, Movies and Bright room. Also offers settings for sound quality too: Movie, High Trebble; High Bass or Normal. The other TV - Insignia does Not have these feature and it's picture and sound not as good as the ROKO TV. I have both and know.

Absolutely fantastic purchase. Best Buy had an amazing price on this TV and it included free delivery. The TV sets up in about 10 minutes and it’s so user-friendly Highly recommend this television

Great picture quality easy set up made a great gift

I recently bought this to upgrade from 42 in to 55. I'm glad I did. It's a great tv. Display is nice (not the best 4k, obviously) , sound is actually better than I thought is would be and the smart features are great. I like it

I LOVE this T.V. The graphics are phenomenal. It was super easy to set up and takes up very little space. The only con I would mention is the size of the remote; it is tiny which means I lose it often.

I got my Roku 55 in TV a month or so ago and Love it. I have no complaints at all.. The picture is wonderful and clear. It's funny to see zits on some of the stars :). Changing from regular tv to roku prime and netflix as well as many other channels is really easy.. And if you go into the settings you can set it to default to the satellite so you don't have to choose each time you turn it on. Many have said that the remote is small.. It is. Just like the regular external Roku remote. But I only use it to change to the extra channels I get away from satellite and my husband uses his universal remote which he was able to program to use it. For the money you can't go wrong with this TV...

I use this as my main tv and it's awesome! - - - - - All my TV's are Roku TV's because they are easy to get to the settings and all the entertainment that Roku offers. - - - - - - It has an over the air tuner meaning that you can buy a powered antenna for the inside of your house (or outside) - connect the antenna coax cable to the Roku TV and you will pick up your local channels and some are in 1080P believe it or not ;) - - - - - i have 41 channels over the air. - - - - - This is good - for example it your cable TV goes out for some reason - you can switch inputs to the Antenna input and you will have TV.

It has a very good picture and I haven't had any issues with the refresh rate. The sound was actually better than I thought considering flat TV's don't have much room for speakers. It does however have to be turned up considerably high if only using the TV speakers themselves. Overall, I am enjoying this purchase.,
