TCL NO LONGEVITY

Yesterday turning channels the screen went black. I went through all the troubleshooting tips and ticks, the screen was still black. Today, I called TCL customer service support and went through the same troubleshooting, screen still black. Long story short here, it's the LCD lighting that has blown. After reading several reviews YouTube, Better Business Bureau, this "black screen" is a known issues with this TV and others. Shame after 2 years of use and $350 spent, the TV done! My 10 year old "42in Insignia that I replaced with this TCL is still working. My tv is out of warranty, so I'm out of luck to get any sort of fix or replacement from TCL. I did try, but they just gave me a "sorry your tv is out of warranty. So, I guess the other 4 TCL TV's I have in my house, will be out of luck too, if they suffer the same issue. Just buy the extended warranty is you decide to buy this TCL TV.

Great low budget 4K tv

The picture quality isn’t the best but what do you expect when you’re paying such a low price. Very easy to navigate through apps. The only thing I can complain about is the range of the remote and the little light at the bottom stays on when it’s off. It’s in my bedroom so it’s a little annoying when you’re trying to sleep.
