Good TV for the price. The picture is crisp, but off axis viewing is terrible. The backlighting can be seen at times too. Mini led will be next!

Like any tv this size, it could use a sound bar. The IR sensor is way too small. Bezel is even smaller though. For what I paid, I really can't complain. Great picture. Easy to use os.

The tv out performs my 2015 Sony Bravia, as well as my old Vizio 4k. Some say that the Dolby Vision on these tvs is not noticable. But trust me, you can see the difference.

The picture is great, there is a huge selection of apps and the interface is easy to use, obviously I can’t speak to the long term quality yet but so far I’m happy with this tv.

I had been holding out on buying a new tv, but with the NFL season approaching and new Netflix programming on the horizon I decided to bite the bullet and pick up this tv. Picture quality is fine for it, price but some of the Black levels aren't as deep as I would like. Works good for gaming, I played Red Dead 2 on it and also NBA 2K.....the colors on 2K pop off the screen, but because I don't have a 4k Xbox I couldn't really get the full perks of RDR2, but even with the lesser hardware the TV frame rate still looked nice and smooth. I would recommend this tv for anyone in the market for a nice inexpensive 4k TV.

I love this TV. It is super thin and has an amazing picture. Movies and video games show up great in 4K.I love the built in Roku system.

We originally purchased a 50 inch Samsung and were sadly disappointed by how easily the picture washed out from any view other than straight on. It's software did not support Hulu live ( we cut the cable when Direct TV jacked up the price) so we returned it to Best Buy and Josh, the sales leader did an outstanding job of explaining how to decide what tv to purchase. Our budget limited us but the TCL 55 inch has been perfect. We love Roku and are very glad we increased the screen size. Given the shape of our family room and position of the tv, we are also satisfied with the picture quality when sitting to either side.

Love the tv. Love that is has Dolby vision when most dont even when they cost way more. Having Roku built in is amazing since it's all I use in my household anyways

Great picture quality, easy setup, easy to use. Main user is my father and he learned the functions pretty easily. Only draw back is the limited connections. Solid 4 stars.

It is cheap but you would never know it. I have had great results with it. Great picture and features. Why pay more? All tvs are disposable.

I’ve been a fan of the TCL + Roku team up since they first started coming out, and had long been very happy with my old one for 4K / HDR gaming and movies. After a house fire I picked up this 5 Series, and am just as pleased as ever. The smart interface is absolutely great, much better than anything else in this price range, and the features the tv offers are everything you need for a quality movie and gaming experience without breaking the bank. To me, the narrow viewing angle is about the only limit on the tv, but as a personal bedroom tv it monitor replacement I can’t recommend it enough.

I’m very impressed with the picture quality of this TV. Movies and TV shows look so good now, that it almost feels you are watching in real life. However, I did change the picture mode to Movie because it felt a little bit too real. I like having the movie effect on a show. Overall, the picture quality is amazing. The Roku interface was a breeze to setup. I like how it automatically detects any equipment you have plugged in to the HDMI ports and audio port. I connected the TV using the Ethernet port, which makes streaming shows in Netflix and Prime Video more reliable.

Switches easily between Roku and cable. Operation is quick. Cannot program the cable remote to access Roku but this may be a standard issue. Price is right.

After returning a Samsung tv of similar price and specs this blows the other out of the water. Looks beautiful, User friendly. Such a great deal!

This tv is great for the price. It's thin, has all the connections you should need. And is easy to set up. Also having Roku built in is an added bonus.

This TV has worked great for me. Sound and picture are great. Only thing that is not great is the remote. You have to point it at the bottom center to work.

The picture and sound quality are outstanding. Nice ease of set up and directions on added items such as streaming stick . Great television for the price.

TV looks great. there are better looking tvs out there, but you cannot beat this one at the price point. primary use is with my xbox one x. I have no complaints

Great TV, Picture, Sound quality, and remote. Everything works perfectly, and the ROKU programs are very easy for everyone to use. Simple to install and set up.
