You definitely don’t get true blacks and at times things can look almost foggy. But you get what you pay for I guess and I feel that this was a very good TV for the money. The Roku has been awesome and the wireless connection has never dropped. Sound has been great, way better than expected, so I never bother turning on the sound bar.

Solid TV With Lots Of Entertainment Options

Picture quality is crisp and very immersive. If you're picky about back light evenness, I'd recommend the model line above this one as the levels aren't adjustable and my corners are just a bit brighter than the rest of the screen, though most people wouldn't notice this while watching.

I recently purchased a new 65” Sony X950G for the living room, and needed to replace another set. Although TCL 5 series can’t match the Black levels of the Sony... for HUNDREDS of dollars less... this set offers very good picture quality with fair sound. You may want a sound bar if this will be your primary tv

Best TV I have had!!

I was looking for a highest quality smart TV that I could get for a reasonable affordable price and I came across this in store (with help of course). My best TV purchase yet! I usually go with Vizio but this has a much better quality and Roku is much better than a normal Smart TV. I’m glad I gave TCL the chance to prove itself!

Great Budget TV

There is some slight motion blur but I belive that can be fixed through the settings. Watching 4K content from Netflix and Hulu is amazing. Highly recommend those who want to consume 4K content to purchase this tv as it is the perfect starter and wallet friendly TV for 4K content.
