A totally awesome television! I did recommend this tv to a friend and he purchased one. My son said his current tv picture quality is going bad, and he will be purchasing this identical tv in the very near future! Best Buy salesman did a terrific job in answering our questions.

This is our first 4K tv. The picture is gorgeous! Having the built in OS makes it super convenient too! I tried the tv audio for a brief moment and was surprised at its quality. But having a surround sound, I chose to go into that for even better audio. I highly recommend this tv!

If you have thousands to spend on a TV, you can get something better, but if your TV budget is under a thousand then stop here, you found the best one. Roku is a relatively intuitive and powerful smart TV interface without custom weirdness and the picture is best in price range.

Great price for a 55 inch television but our previous Samsung TV has better picture. The installed Roku was a selling point but adding an Apple TV provided better 4K quality. I really like the weight of the television. It made mounting the tv very easy.

I went in thinking I was going to buy one of the “big” brand names. After learning more about TCL I decided to give it a shot. Couldn’t beat the price point for this size of TV in 4K. Pleasantly surprised when I fired it up. Great picture. Super user friendly interface and remote.

While not the best picture in the money no object category, it is an outstanding picture for the price. The smart TV function immediately found the WI-FI network. The only thing to keep in mind is that the feet are widely spaced, which may limit placement on a stand.

Pros Great TV for the price. Fine sound. Great picture. Roku is an added advantage. I had to replace the TV within first week because one of the HDMI ports was not working. TCL Customer care and Best buy-Geek squad were quick and friendly. Cons: Weak remote, and sensor.

Still have this TV! It was a great value and the picture quality is very good. Purchased an inexpensive soundbar to help boost the sound because the room is 350sq ft. Love the thin black frame around the screen.

Great Picture and sound. I am on a budget and needed a TV that worked well. This TV met my expectations. The sound quality is great, and the picture quality is as good as some higher priced TV's. I would buy again if needed.

Great tv for the cost. Has all the features the more expensive tvs have. Roku built in with all the streaming apps. Picture quality is right up there with some pricier tvs. Definitely worth the price. Good value.

Everything was great at first. So it’s been about two weeks and the screen just stopped working. After playing a game and turning the tv off I noticed that the screen was flickering, while it was off!! Like in a horror movie. I turned the tv back on and it was stuck on the ps4 home screen. I then turned the tv off again and unplugged it plugged it in and tried to turn it back on again and now I get nothing but green and white rectangles! It’s only been 2 weeks TCL. :/ I’m pretty disappointed seeing that you guys boast and talk so highly of your affordable high quality TVs. I owned a tv that was half the price from a lesser known brand for more than 2 years and that has NEVER happened to me. Please fix your TVs or lower the price if they’re gonna suck like this one.

Rtings and CNET weren’t playing when they said this set is a true bargain for the tech that’s inside, like full array local dimming, 840 nits of HDR and a wide color range. If you’re like me and tired of washed out greys on LCD panels, this is a VERY good option.

This TV really met all the requirements of what we were looking for. I even feel like it's been working better over time, The picture quality is outstanding. We do occasionally watch nature docs, and I think that is how you can judge a good picture quality. This works great.

This is one of the best TV’s I have bought for the money. I never heard of this brand but the sales person took the time to explain about TLC and I’m so glad I got it. Make sure you get the 5 or 6 series. I’m going back to purchase the 65 inch 6 series before Super Bowl.

I was so impressed with this television, I went and bought a 2nd one. The depth and clarity is fantastic. It's the first Series 5 television I have owned and there truly is a world of difference between it, and a Series 4. Well worth the few extra bucks.

We’ve had this TV for not quite a year and a half, and still love it. We use it for Hulu, Netflix, YouTube, Disney+ and any other streaming app, as well as for gaming systems. We’ve never had any issues except for when we first bought it to install, and found one of the HDMI ports completely fell into the TV. Though it was a hassle to load it back up and get it returned, we got a replacement TV no problem. And once we figured out how to install it, everything went smoothly. The ONLY thing I’ve ever noticed as a “problem” is a waviness across the screen when you look at it from an angle. It’s really only noticeable in cut screens, like in a video game, and doesn't really affect the viewing experience, so don’t let that prevent you from getting this TV. It was a great deal (especially when we bought it over Black Friday).

We love the picture quality on this television! The sound is fine although we use a sound bar also. For the price and the built in Roku, it is definitely worth purchasing.

Great price, great picture, easy to understand remote and great sound. Like getting a high end TV at a budget price. All apps in one location, one of my best purchases even after almost 2 years.

This is a great TV for the price. The picture quality is great and it has good sound. The only drawback is that I have to select the input every time I turn on the TV. I can’t program my cable remote to do this so I have to use two remotes operate my television.
