The picture quality looks pretty good, all my necessary apps come preinstalled except getting my correct account in YouTube was a bit bothersome. Regardless the TV is very fluid between apps, sound could be better though but that's easily solvable with a sound bar

Only downside is Roku. I prefer Amazon Fire. Aside from That it’s a super great picture, super slim trim, great sound and I like the added video gameplay mode that ups the frame rate and slightly lowers the visual quality which I couldn’t even notice.

For the price, you can’t really do a whole lot better than this television. The price to performance ratio is incredible, and the 4K content really shines. As long as you keep your expectations in line with this set’s performance metrics, you won’t be disappointed.

Had to return the first one due to a manufacturing defect that made the screen have lines all over it. Our new one works well and is very easy to use. It could use more backlight and some better sound however.

I have a Sony 4k that ran me north of $1,500 & this TCL 55 4K UHD TRUE HDR ROKU TV by far is the more Superior Tv. It lacks one thing "sound" but I have it hooked up to my home theater system. So no big deal to me.. I should ask Sony for $1,000 and change back.. lol

This is a great TV out of the box without too much setup or calibration needed. The reason it’s not 5 stars is the color doesn’t get as bright as needed for being a living room TV. Easy setup to use various streaming services. Would purchase again for another room.

Easy to use interface to switch from cable to dvd to streaming. Great picture and sound. In my experience, budget TVs have poor sound quality that require you to buy a sound bar. This TCL has really good sound quality to go with a great picture.

My very first smart TV, I am amazed how affordable it was... TCL, I had no idea about there product... Thanks ti my salesman I learned allot about TCL and choosing a TV for me.. Not to mention I am no longer a prisoner of wires and price gouging CABLE....

I haven’t shopped around for a TV in almost 10 years. Back then I got a Samsung 50” for over $800. This TV is ten times better, it’s a smart TV, hooks up super easy, great picture quality and less than $500 with taxes. Best purchase I’ve made in awhile

No issues for 4 months so far, both sound and picture quality is as expected, there is some reddening on facial shots at times but nothing overboard, streaming is good on the imbedded roku

I was looking for a tv for a basement and didn't want to spend a fortune. I looked at way more expensive tv's and then discovered the TCL. For the money I couldn't be happier as the picture is as sharp as way more expensive models and brands.

I have been really happy with this TV. Yes, there are nicer ones out there but you would have to spend twice as much to touch the picture and features of this one. The colors are pretty true, the picture is clear and I have had no issues with blur.

Very nice tv overall. In most ways it's of higher build and picture quality than my Samsung, which cost twice as much. Go figure. Has all of the Roku features,vehich is nice.

I did a ton of research before buying this TV and this TV was too good of a deal. You get so much more with this TV then you do with a Japanese TV. The picture is amazing, even with dark colors and reflection. Great buy and will recommend to anyone

I've had my new TV for about a month now and so far I've been very happy with my purchase. Set up was easy, the picture is great and it's easy to use. Perfect for an average user like me.

Excellent TV for the cost. I picked it up on a Black Friday sale for even less than msrp. Picture quality is good with a lot of contrast. Overall profile of the tv is also great being very thin and light to mount. Would highly recommend.

Was not familiar with the TCL brand prior to this purchase and have been impressed by the clarity and the color! Easy install/setup and we have been very happy with the performance - so much so i’ll be buying a second TCL for our family room.

Recently upgraded to 4K, and this TV is the best bang for your buck! Picture is clear and sound is decent without any sound bar or external speakers.

I had a Samsung 8000 model tv prior to this one. When I went to the store to compare picture I was surprised that this model tv was just about as good as the Samsung model I had previously owned. So glad I purchased this tv and saved $. Love it!

The TV's apps are nice. The picture is great. A little dark. But after I found the secret menu to turn off the Dobly Vision HDR it was a kit better. It got way to dark with it on. But now I have no complaints and am saving up for the 65" tv.
