This is my first TCL product, very pleased so far. My last flat screen purchase (different brand) died far too soon. A few friends recommended this brand and so far I agree with thier assessment. I was also very pleased with the salesman at Best Buy, well versed on this product.

Subject says it all ! I had to return a TV that the rep recommended hat was on sale. But for my studio just wanted. Basic TV. Nothing beats the price and company and setup here. Temper expectations with picture quality but for the price comparing. Don't look any further.

Good TV for the price. It has a bit of lag as far as menu navigation but not the worst I’ve seen. The corners of the screen have a bit of color degradation, but I guess you can expect that at this price point. All in all...its a good tv so far. It gets the job done

It looks great. The setup process was a little infuriating, though. It required me to create a Roku account to use the TV at all. No reviewer on YouTube or rtings.com disclosed. Definitely avoid if you do not want to give out your personal information just to watch TV.

A bit tough to setup on std. cable, even tougher to understand how to use with a streaming service. Clunky remote. Sound does not have enough treble for tall rooms, gets lost & muddy.

I brought this tv as an upgrade to the existing tv I had in my room and it is blowing my mind , the design of the tv is eye catching , the way the display looks with that crispy 4K hdr is amazing , voice commands are on point and did I mention I looks pretty on my wall ,

This Roku TV set is excellent. I can stream anything with the built in capability. It also has a media player that can access files from a flash drive or hard drive using the USB port. If you can live with having only 3 HDMI ports, you’ll enjoy this device.

This is an amazing looking TV. My only real complaint is the Roku Integration. I have an Apple TV so I don't need the Smart Apps. It is also weird when trying to change inputs as I have to use the Roku App on my phone. Other than that, wonderful TV.

It had been over 10 years since I purchased a television and was not sure what to choose. After reading reviews and checking out the nice price, I decided on this one and I couldn't be happier. It is sleek and thin and the Roku operating system works wonderfully!

The television works and looks great with the exception of one small issue - it has trouble locating the wireless connection on occasion. Takes upwards of 10 minutes sometimes for it to find the internet connection. Otherwise a great value and a great television.

TCL is one of the growing companies which provides Tv in average range. Display is good. Sound could have been better but it's ok. Overall satisfied with the product considering price that I had to pay.

I was very surprised at how great the graphics look in video game streaming. The Roku interface is easy to use. Smooth lines and solid internal speakers. Would definitely recommend. Planning on buying another one soon.

The good The affordable TCL 5 series has a clean, minimalist look that outclasses most budget TVs. Roku TV delivers the simplest, most comprehensive smart TV experience on the market, with more apps than competitors, including support for 4K, HDR and Dolby Vision. The bad Vizio's E series has a superior picture for a similar price. Image quality with HDR sources isn't significantly better than non-HDR. The bottom line The TCL 5 series is a solid choice if you want a Roku TV with sleeker styling, just don't expect a better picture.

The visual quality is average. We purchased this after our Samsung basically started sparking and eventually burned from the inside out one day. This is a Chinese brand that is fairly new; supposedly it's best in class. The TV design is very sleek with a very thin back frame and the stand is very stable. Pixel quality wise as well as the ROKU feature is not overly great; ROKU is convenient but not my favorite TV app since when you sign up, you have to put a payment method on file irrespective of whether you sign up for anything or not. All in all, if you're looking for a TV replacement, TCL will do the job just fine considering the price range, features, and actual size of the TV.

I choose this over the 6 series because this tv is thinner and looks nicer hanged up on the wall in my opinion off course. It’s also 100 dollars less.

We bought tv on a tue. and the tv did work well so tried to call and was on hold for 20 min. before I hung up. Tried this 3 more times and same thing happened finally we just brought it back. Your customer service sucks!!!!!

This is the first tv my husband and I bought together, the Roku remote batteries are too small for the remote so the connection they have is awful. Replace those batteries with new ones before you get frustrated for sure.

Upgraded from my 1080p TCL to this 4K Roku TV model and I’ve got to say TCL definitely doesn’t disappoint! LG and Samsung are nice name brands, but this is the true entry of you want to enter the world of 4K on a reasonable budget.

I highly recommend this TV. I was going to mount it, but I did not want to damage the back of TV due to how it is designed. I actually bought a great TV stand from another Best Buy and had it shipped to the Cary location.

Wasn't very familiar with this line of TVs but I did some research and found it was quite a reliable and highly rated product. I am very happy with the TV. It gives the full 4k experience at a fraction of the cost of other units.
