    The picture was good and sound was fine. The screen was warped and had awful light bleed. For these TVs, it's really "screen lottery." Traded it in for a Samsung and don't regret it for a second.

    purchased this tv based on the refresh rate listed on the box, after getting in home and set up I wish I would have went with my first choice, spent a little more money and purchased the Sony model. Still at this price this was not a bad purchase.

    There is a light underneath the middle of the tv that is really bright when the tv is not on. Kind of acts as a night light but in a small bedroom it is really bright. Also the picture seems really white washed. Not a huge fan of this tv yet.

      Hi Rone,

      You can actually turn off the Standby LED. If you follow these steps (click the home button to take you to the home screen, go to settings, go to system, go to power), you will find an option to turn off the standby LED light. Additionally, there are options available to adjust the picture settings to better fit your personal preference. You can access the Options menu on the TV by pressing the asterisk (*) button on your remote while watching content. Additionally, you can access advanced picture settings by downloading the free Roku mobile app on a smartphone or tablet. The Roku mobile app works as a remote and allows you to access additional features like voice search, private listening, advanced picture settings, and more. Hope this helps & happy viewing!

    The screen is green and white. It worked fine until Thanksgiving. We woke up turned the TV on for the kids so we could finish cooking and that's when we noticed it. It worked fine the night before and until Thanksgiving. I have tried everything TCL support team suggested and even did a reset and still the same.

    This tv is decent. The picture is good but it does NOT support HDR 10 like it is supposed to. Had to call the company and they said the update won’t be available till sometime in 2019

    Good but had to return mine becuase the IR receiver stopped working. I don't know if it was the TV or best buy at this point. Since almost everything I purchased from em had to be replaced under warranty.

    First time purchasing a TCL model and got for spare room. BB talked me into getting the next level up model ($100 more) than the one I planned to purchase. TV purchased 8/19/19 and activate a week later - stopped working with less than 4 hours use (blue screen). Purchased 5 yr extended warranty from BB. Called BB and TCL and both told me to contact the other. Finally TCL stepped up and sent a tech out with a part which didn't fix TV - now awaiting replacement TV. Won't by this brand again.

    Garbage. Firing after 11 months

    We bought this 8/31/18. It’s 8/3/19 now. I have to factory reset this thing once a week to use it. What happens is the screen is black but we can hear all the system sounds and shows play. Only way to get the screen back is full data reset and the. Log back into everything.

    It doesn't have any apps like a smart TV should have. you have to pay for all the apps on sling TV. but overall its not so bad. the colors are nice and also HD.

      Our smart TVs has thousands of streaming channels and apps. While there are only a handful that come pre-installed, you can definitely go to the Roku Channel Store to search and download any available streaming channel or app. Additionally, there are all different types of streaming channels and apps, which includes free content, subscription services, pay-per-view, rentals, etc. Hope this helps and happy viewing!

    Broke 1st day of the coronovirus quarantine. I called the geeks and explained I bought the service warranty and they said thay could make it here in 2 weeks! Very frustrating.

    At first I absolutely loved this TV. After 18 months, however, the screen suddenly stopped working and stayed black. And thankfully (or so I thought), I purchased the Best Buy protection plan. Unfortunately that’s been like pulling teeth to get it serviced. Literally multiple phone calls to geek squad and nobody seems to be able to help.

    Loved everything about the TV except the sound when I got it home. Hard to make out what people were saying even at full volume. Returned and ended up getting a Samsung Smart TV from Costco instead.

    Picture quality is ok, speakers are mounted on rear of tv and you can hear it better in surrounding rooms than when sitting in front of it. The price was the only reason I would buy this tv.

    Good television. Nice color accurately. Good viewing angle. But there is some blooming in the corners and Isn’t that sharp, as far the details and hdr mode is a little bit lackluster

    i purchased this for the size and the price but the picture quality was awful if you watching from an angle. i wouldn't recommend buy if you want great picture quality

    Don't have the illusion that this can compete with high end TVs. It's not too bad though. I think it was worth the $399 I paid. I liked the features of Roku as a built in system.

    Nothing special but it's ok for the money. I needed a cheap 55" 4K TV and it got the job done but there are much better one out there if you're willing to spend more money
