    Less than two years and it's dead!!

    TV is showing dark screen with only the audio working. I tried all the unplugging and resetting there is. It's dead and I'll never buy another TCL again.

    It has a great picture. Unfortunately I had to factory reset it twice. Both times I had sound but no picture. I returned it.

    Had the roku exactly 14 days. Within the 10 days the tv had a very bad lag. Also only a few apps worked. Netflix and other apps once you try and open it goes back to the roku home screen. Disappointed

    Constantly crashes and resets - often can't use

    Bought two of these for my home. Within about a year or so, they both began frequently crashing while using pretty much any app. Crashing has become worse with one of them to the point that it enters a constant loop of restarts that sometimes takes 20 minutes or more before I even get the unit into a stable enough state to watch. Ridiculous. They also frequently get into stretches where they simply will not detect my wireless network. No other devices in my home have that issue, so I assume it is not an issue with my network. These TVs are cheap for a reason. Would never buy from TCL again.

    Really regret buying this TV. I trusted the reviews, perhaps a rookie mistake. I should have paid more attention to the refund policy. When you look at the TV from an angle other than straight on you notice odd vertical lines. The best way to describe it is like waves or ripples of poor lighting. Definitely a waste of my money.

    Original & exchange TV did not work

    TV was delivered on 8/10. I set it up, tried turning it on, and it would not power on via remote or manually. The replacement TV came today, 8/17, It powered on... great! ... I watched less than 90 minutes of TV, and wide green & white horizontal lines took over the entire screen. Restarting did not help. I will exchange this one for a different brand. Fyi, It took a while to get through, but Best Buys customer service was great! However this product is not... at least not for me!

    Don't buy it! Piecw of junk

    This tv was very inexpensive and I got what I paid for. The tv screen was very flimsy. Although the color quality was great , it stopped working in less than 30 days and I ended up returning it.

    Due to the recent controversy surrounding ROKU and Alex Jones, I will not support this company. I believe there is corruption involved in this matter which I cannot ignore. I will return this purchase

    I purchased the TV as a gift for myself, upgrade. I set it up with Roku and it kept disconnecting. The channels kept going blank. After the second day of this happening, I returned it.

    TV does not have a crisp picture. Color is weak and the built in Roku is missing features like voice search and ear buds This is a TV you buy for your workshop not your family room!

      You should know that if you download the free Roku mobile app for your smart phone or tablet it unlocks the ability to give you a powerful voice search in control, as well as plug your headphones in to enjoy a private listening. Hope that helps, TCL support

    This TV picture was not what I saw in the store from the beginning and I just decided to live with it. It slowly got worse and now 25 percent of the screen is black. I called the geek squad for replacement on my extended warranty and they told me it was not covered as it was not kept in an air conditioned room. This was not stated in any discussion at the time of the warranty purchase. Do not buy the extended warranty from Best Buy or the TCL product as it is junk.

    Not able to connect to my USB drive

    I was not able to connect my 5 tb usb 3 drive to this TV. Not so sure if it's because of usb three or it's because of the capacity.

    I'm returning this TV tomorrow. Took a chance on the TCL brand, I think that something is wrong with the TV internally, there is no picture and I have tried different HDMI cables and inputs but there is no picture on the screen, just audio. I had this for about 7 days, I'm going back to Samsung or Sony.

    You get what you pay for- disappointing

    I thought I was getting a decent tv at a great price. Turns out, I received a cheap tv for a cheap price. The picture isn’t anywhere close to what a 4K UHD tv should be. Very grainy, and overall Bad picture, extremely dissatisfied. Would not recommend. Do yourself a favor and pay extra for a quality name brand TV, it’s worth it. This is a terrible manufacturer.

You can access the Options menu on the TV by pressing the asterisk (*) button on your remote while watching content.     We were very disappointed in this item. We had purchased it to upgrade our old tv and encountered many problems. The sound was off and the picture quality was very poor. We also did not enjoy the Roku. We previously had a fire TV and it was much more user friendly. We returned this item and bought a Insignia with the fire TV. It was the same price and the quality both in sound and picture superior to the TCL.

    We use YoutubeTV and it takes forever to load. On our external Roku devices it loads much faster. Not sure I would recommend this tv.

      Hi Engr,

      If the YouTubeTV streaming channel is the only streaming channel that is acting strange, it may be an issue with the streaming channel itself. You can first try uninstalling the streaming channel and then reinstalling it. To do this you can highlight the streaming channel on the home screen and press the asterisk (*) button on your remote, then scroll down to 'Remote channel'. You would then need to go to Home>Streaming Channels>Search Channels>Type in YouTubeTV. You would then select the streaming channel and select 'Add channel'.
