Do NOT buy this junk!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had the TV for a week and the screen is gone, nothing but green and silver blocks just like another reviewer on here. TCL is a cheap chinese brand and I knew that but still took the chance and wish I hadnt. AND their customer support is terrible. You get some Indian that doesnt know english and they wanted me to wait 10 days til someone came out!!! I returned it for an LG.

Bad Product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bad product on the market. I would not recommend anyone to purchase TCL television. I had product for 1 year and 1 month and picture went out. Of course the factory warranty is only a year and now I understand why. Product is not meant to last. Tried to deal with TCL customer service but since it was past the 1 year mark they would not help. Best I got from them was for me to seek a repair man or purchase a new one. If you have $450 to throw away then it's the tv for you but if your looking for a television to last a period of time stay away. TCL needs to upgrade their standard because at this point it's pathetic.

Clouding all over

Unfortunately, my piece has come with awful clouding which is very noticing and annoying when the picture turns black. I just want to know if it’s my piece only or this model in general. Anyways, I want to return it and either buy the series 6 model or consider another option.

Another TCL remote complaint; Best Buy no help
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Straight out of the box, the remote skips. Got tossed back and forth between TCL and Roku support. Several hours. No resolution. Tried calling the local Best Buy. No customer support option. No answer on sales option. Tried calling Best Buy's support. Waited 30 minutes AFTER getting a callback. Gave up. TCL TV along with its skipping remote is going back to Best Buy. Disappointed in the TV and the support.

WARNING: Doesn't work with popular sound bars
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replaced 3 times thinking the ARC port was bad. Come to find out it's just the garbage ARC technology. For some odd reason this specific TVs ARC port does not work with 2 popular sound bars I've tested. Looked this TVs ARC issues up online, apparently it's a thing. So my brand new 300$ Yamaha YAS-207's DTS:X technology can't be used on this TV, and since my return period is now over I'm stuck with it. Overall gets 1 star for allowing a universal bug on their TV to be released to the masses.

Not a good TV.

There are options available to adjust the picture settings to better fit your personal preference. You can access the Options menu on the TV by pressing the asterisk (*) button on your remote while watching content. Additionally, you can access advanced picture settings by downloading the free Roku mobile app on a smartphone or tablet. The Roku mobile app works as a remote and allows you to access additional features like voice search, private listening, advanced picture settings, and more. Hope this helps & happy viewing!

Stopped Working Twice in a Year
