We have had our new TCL Roku TV for about a month. So far we are very pleased. The picture is outstanding for the price. You can get a tv with a better picture but it will cost a LOT more. It is easy to set up and the Roku integration is excellent. We have not had any issues and it works great with our Directv Genie.

Our first TCL 6 series 55 inch TV developed lines in green, red, yellow within a couple of months. TCL's return process was time consuming and ultimately took about 4 months to complete (in part due to our busy lives but mostly due to their convoluted process). Finally TCL agreed to replace the TV with a recertified TV because it had been just over 6 months since purchase. They sent it with the wrong power cord. Thanks too Best Buy for making that right. They did not collect our old one. The replacement has a better picture but crashes constantly. So disappointed. Also, the remote sucks. We will never purchased anything from TCL again.

Great overall tv 10/10 hdr is excellent gameplay is excellent was surprised it came with dolby vision like most tvs dont include dolby vision gaming been trying to get this one for a couple months

Unfortunately I may be out of my return window. Dirty Screen Effect is BAD and very noticeable watching sports. Upscaling from cable not great either. Not as noticeable watching 4k content but still there. Not sure if this is just my unit or not. I could live with some banding, vignetting and some DSE at this price but this is too much. Cons: Dirty Screen Effect, banding, upscaling/processing bad. (Mostly sports) Pros: Roku, HDR content, price.

I guess I really don't put it through it's paces but for what I use, TV, DVDs, WII games and even old VCR tapes, it performs flawlessly. I've also used it to display digital photos. Great picture and the sound is much better than my old Samsung. For casual watching/listening, I don't need external speakers.

I've bought both a Sony XBR65x900f and a TCL 55R615 this year, and dollar for dollar the TCL is a better TV. The TCL wins every category except peak brightness and overall picture quality due to better upscaling on the Sony.

Overall this is a great TV for the price. The speaker are ok, video quality is great at this price, remote layout could be better (volume on the side--why?), and I find the Roku interface to be pretty good. I do wish it had a voice enabled remote and bluetooth.

Just skip this tv unless you are willing to try multiple times. The picture looks pretty darn good, it does, but I also got vertical banding and it was so bad I noticed it even during regular viewing, something that other reviews assured me I wouldn't notice. Roku is pretty cool, the roku app is awesome, but its all pretty moot when it looks like the screen is dirty all the time. This tv is cheap for a reason, 0 quality control. Don't give tcl your money and by doing so telling them its okay for this kind of quality control. I replaced mine with a samsung nu7100 and honestly the screen looks just as great if not better, color wise, there was 0 vertical banding. The quality of the actual hardware is better. The remote and software isnt as nice as roku, but I have a chromecast anyways, and you could get a roku separate anyways.

I purchased this TV on cut the cord day and for use in my home office to be able to stream media via Netflix and Spectrum as well as have multiple consoles connected. So far it's been great and easy to use, and the Roku OS in particular is really well integrated and intuitive.

I have absolutely no regrets in purchasing this TV. The picture quality is absolutely stunning for this budget TV. My only real complaint is that the TV base is super wide and therefore you need a long table, which limits what the TV can be stood on

We got this to replace a 3 year old Insignia that was in the process of dying and I couldn’t be happier. The price was good, it has a great picture quality, the sound is decent, and it’s got a good number of HDMI ports (so I didn’t have to go buy a separate switch).

Some high-end TV's have a bit sharper picture but this one is very good and the reasonable price allowed me to purchase a larger screen size. Hooked it up to my DirecTV, Blu-Ray DVD, and my audio receiver (that I use as an inexpensive sound-bar). I'm very pleased.

Everything worked fine until early 2023 then I began to get horizontal lines moving down the screen which is getting progressively worse.

Mostly everything about this TV is fantastic. It seems slightly dim in the corners on an all-white screen, and sometimes the 240hz motion causes a weird blur around moving characters, but other than that it is absolutely amazing and exceeds my expectations.

I have bought a handful of large screen TVs for the past 20 something years and I must say this TV has got a magnificent picture. It surpasses the clarity of my sharp quadron and Samsung.

The TV has a good picture for the most part. Some slight banding, especially visible when watching hockey. The Ethernet port and one HDMI port do not work. I contacted TCL customer service on May 12 but have heard nothing in response.

Took a chance after much research. First off, took about two hours to get the arc working with my surround sound. Second mine had vertical banding. Really noticeable watching hockey and once I saw it, I couldn’t unsee it. Third, once arc was working couldn’t get the audio synced up. Tried for an hour messing with every setting with tv, cable box, and surround sound with no luck. Would not sync up. Otherwise picture was ok and overall it was easy to use. But returned to store and went back to Samsung.

After much research we decided on the TCL R model. We are absolutely thrilled with the picture quality and the Roku integration. We were able to take advantage of the HDMI ARC function allowing us to have 5.1 Dolby sound thru our receiver!

Brilliant purchase. From picture quality to sound everything is top notch for a very good price. Still rocking it after 4 years!
