I own this TV for a year now and never had any problem with quality, sound, or structural integrity of TV. I love the blacks on it especially when watching 4K tv shows and movies on streaming services. I have my Xbox connected this this TV and gaming is awesome with brightness and lag free synching with Xbox. I would recommend this TV to someone looking for a budget 4K deal with awesome features and very good quality

This TV has blown me away. After lots of research on what to buy, I found this TV to have great reviews from last years model. As a college student my budget is tight, but my expectations are high. I highly recommend this TV to anyone, budget or not. The only negative reviews I have found have been from Vertical lines in the picture. TCL has reached out to them noting it is unusual and they will fix it. My TV's picture is fantastic and very even in picture/color. The only thing that I could gripe about is the remote, as it does not provide much for someone like me that likes to have a lot of options. However this is easily fixed with a universal remote. Don't hesitate in buying this TV, you will not be disappointed.

Good tv until recently. Like the depth of black and overall picture quality but recently the tv has started to randomly turn of then back on, has a long pause between commands from the remote (3-5sec), and the back button will sometimes take me to the home screen even though I'm well into an tv app. It has served me well for 3yrs.

I like it better than the much more expensive Samsung I returned to the store because of HDMI arc problems. The TCL was very easy to set up and use. The picture looks great (after adjusting some settings). I like the app that allows me to use WIFI to listen privately with my phone connected to Bluetooth earbuds... listen to Pandora and music files through the TV.

This TV is hands down the best you can get for the price. To get something meaningfully better you would have to spend literally double or more. I have a Samsung that cost me more than twice the price and it is only marginally better. The Roku app is also nice to use, especially because the remote is the only bad thing about it but it is still easy to get used to it. RTINGS has a marvelous review that breaks it down perfectly, check their review out!

TV is great! Color and clarity are very true and this was an unexpected bonus for the price. Channel guide is easy to follow as is the programming menus. My only complaint and the reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was the remote control is not ergonomically setup correctly. I always accidentally hit the mute button, which is located on the right, side of the remote. This is very odd and very frustrating to always mute the TV.

I’ve had this TV for a month, and I am still blown away by how amazing it! While it’s price suggests budget TV, this TCL actually compares with flagship units 3 times as expensive. The Full-Array backlighting makes for great HDR/Dolby Vision content without much blooming. The colors are phenomenal and lifelike, and the Roku Smart TV features are quick and responsive. I would recommend this TV to anyone who asks!

The new 6 Series is an OUTSTANDING TV for the price point! The TV IS simple to get connected, simple to use and the picture is great. The cosmetics of the tv are great as well. I like the fact that Roku gives you the option of using your phone as a remote as well one of the best features! Have had the tv for months so I hope it last for a long time as well.

My other TV was about 8 years old, this TV blows it away! The Roku function just took my experience to a whole new level. The clarity is stunning! Even family who came over said "Oh my God that looks so real that it looks fake!", "That is scary how clear it is" and "Its like I'm moving the camera myself". I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

When it comes to TVs, I have always been a Samsung fan. I did some research on the TCL Roku TV and decided to take the chance & buy the 55” 6 series set. What attracted me was the incorporation of Roku and no need for an additional device. I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the TV set itself and also the picture quality is great. It’s easy to navigate and easy to set up. I would certainly buy this TV again.

Hands down best TV I've ever owned. The 4k picture quality is to die for. Very vivid colors and vibrant whites. It does a really good job at displaying blacks as well. I've compared this to similar TVs and the only ones I can sit it next to would be Samsung QLED TVs and even then for the price different the TCL knocks it outta the park. So if you are like me and need a 4k TV but save money in the process BUY THIS TV!!!

Purchased this after returning an 8000 series LG. This TCL absolutely nails everything. Beautiful color, handles motion well, and looks good. If you read the reviews from the experts, this tv is rated the best for price vs performance. I simply cannot argue that fact. Roku system is a breeze to use and has so many entertainment options. Bottom line, you will not regret buying this tv. It will play ball with anything under $1,000.

I'm predominantly a gamer, and the games I've played on it look fantastic. There's some issues with darkness in Shadow of the Tomb Raider, but that seems to be an issue with the game and not the TV. But all the colors pop and make everything look great. I live in an area that does not allow for 4K watching or streaming, so I can't rate that well, but all in all it's great quality for a price that isn't going to break your wallet.

This is probably one of the best TV for the price. Not only do you get 4k you also get HDR. Both can be achieved but not at the same time. This TV with built in Roku is amazing. The reason one would buy such a TV is that the Roku edition it comes with is already streaming 4k content if it is available on certain apps. Amazing picture for the price would sayto purchase a separate soundbar. Other than that buy this TV!

This TV is wonderful. I use it for streaming, watching movies, and playing Xbox One S. It sores when it comes to 4K gaming and movies. The color and image are vibrant and it has great contrast. Others have written about vertical lines, I have not experienced that issue. The only concern I would have is the stand. Make sure to measure your TV stand because the legs for the TV go just outside the width of the TV.

Great picture quality and the Roku system is extremely easy to use. You are playing a panel lottery when purchasing this tv as there is a chance of getting a panel with vertical banding or bad uniformity. If you get one with neither you’re in for a treat as this is the best price for picture you can currently get

I got this the day it came out as a special introductory price that matched last years price as an older TV. So a brand new TV with new technology at last years prices was my perspective. Smartest TV I've ever had with the Roku built in. Super-fast, beautiful stand with brushed aluminum makes this TV look top-quality. I manually calibrated it and am rather impressed when I get to enjoy 4k Content. I used to always spend minimum 1500+ when investing in a TV. I'm so glad I saved so much money and am more satisfied than if I spent more. This TV is the real deal, check out this and last years version at rtings.com, it won many awards for its price range and is literally .5 points or less than some top-quality TV's like OLED's for half the price.

Absolutely love my TCL 6 series TV. I’ve researched 55 inch Sony and Samsung 4K TVs and the picture and features of the TCL were at least equal to and better in several areas. The colors of the TCL are superior to the Sonys and the functions (Roku, Ethernet, Dolby TV and remote) are better than Samsung’s. In short, you would be nuts to pay so much more for another name brand simply because of the nameplate.

I've researched tv's for over a year, was sold on the Sony 900F (mostly because I am a Google Home user and this runs Android) until my 3 yr old decided to throw something at my current tv and cracked the screen. I felt spending $1500 would be too much in event this happened again. Through all of my research, the TCL P6 and since January, the 6 series TCL seemed like great tv's. I decided the $599 would be a safer bet for me and the specs seemed comparable to the Sony. So I (we) watched a broken TV for 3 months (this was also a great lesson for my 3 yr old) waiting for the TCL 6 series to be released. I had the TCL tv delivered last weekend, so far I have no issues and it is fantastic. I've watched Disney animated movies, football, live tv (through the built in Roku), video and audio great. The whole family is very happy with the TV. It is too easy to setup, it does much hand holding when it comes to settings for both video and audio (it sets these to "auto" by default, which works perfectly). To my dismay, no "tweaking" is required (I like to "tweak" my electronics' settings). The Roku is great, since I am already a Roku user, it was seamless. The only thing that I have found to make me say hmm is when using the ARC feature for the connection to my AV receiver, there is a little screen "flutter" during fast moving scenes, but it's only temporary and no big deal. If I do not use my receiver, the "flutter" never happens. I do like that the volume control on the TV remote also controls my receivers volume when using the ARC connection. I'm very happy with my "budget" purchase, as it doesn't perform like a budget tv. Great job TCL-Thank you!
