Excellent value for this 4K TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was in the market to replace a 2008 Sony Bravia model in a room with heavy usage. I read a review online that stated it was the best picture quality for the money in 2018. I think the picture quality is very good. It's not comparable to higher bracket brands/models so don't confuse that. But it's very good quality. I was mainly looking for a TV with streaming capabilities and flexibility to add additional apps with ease, which led me to the Roku TV options. I love the Roku TV, makes it extremely to use and exactly what I was targeting. Doesn't get 5 star due to the poor sound performance that's been noted in several other reviews. I plan to match it with a soundbar, hopefully TCL's smart sound bar if it 's released soon. Overall very happy with this TV.

Everything is good except ARC function
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Compare to my 8-years old Sharp LED TV, this one owned HDR, Dobly Vision and other features. However, the ARC function is very unuseful. If you are looking for a good image quality TV, this one is your best option.

Best TV for the money and then some
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an initial issue with my first purchase, but the exchanged unit has been flawless. The HDR and black levels make it a must buy at this price point. I've had initial issues with big brands too.. so I wouldn't worry about it

Great 4K TV!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked up this TV on May 3rd so I have had about 3 months with it. For $599 this tv is a steal. Let me start off with saying that I mostly use this tv to watch sports and movies. It handles sports very well, I was worried if it could handle the quick movements in sports and it definitely holds up. Movies look ridiculously good on this tv, especially 4k movies. Luckily I didn't have any banding issues so I can't speak on that. - Speakers are pretty good for a LED tv. Not great but not bad as well. Overall if you are on the fence with buying this tv I say go for it. I honestly don't have anything bad to say about it.

Great TV, super service from Best Buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the TV based on the many reviews that place it at the highest level of picture, etc. for the money. The review were accurate. The picture on the TV is phenomenal. Clear, great color. Add to that the superb Roku integration and the TV is magnificent. Must add that Best Buy's customer service is great. The TV as originally delivered had a problem that it would randomly turn itself off at various times. Best Buy was super. Customer service made arrangements to pick up the defective TV and deliver a new one. Totally seamless. The true test of a good company is how they handle a problem. They did it right.

Nice picture quality but sound output suffers
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought TCL and compared with my LG UM7300. This TV definitely produces better colors and deeper black levels however suffers badly in sound output. Even with JBL 450 watts sound bar it didnt produce sound anywhere closer to LG tv I have. Thus returning. I would recommend someone this TV to someone looking for great picture quality under $500 but if you're like me who prefers better sound quality I would suggest looking for something else like LG 7 or 8 series or Sony.

This is a GREAT TV!
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We love this TV! The price was outstanding, and the quality was much better than most more expensive TVs. The picture and colors are fantastic. This is on par with anything Samsung has to offer.

Outstanding picture for the $
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great picture for the money and I run my PS4 pro on it with 4K HDR settings and zero issues. Have noticed it will occasionally turn off on its own but that may be user error with energy save settings.

Great TV value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV has a gorgeous picture with a little bit of tinkering in the picture settings. Great for gaming. Super bright if you need it to be. Only complaint is off-angle viewing gets bad pretty fast, but overall a great value.

Great TV for the price!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Compared to the other TV's in the same price range, this is the best value for your money. New 4K content looks great, and another plus is that this TV works great with retro console scalers (like the OSSC). Would recommend!

Very good tv! Excellent 4K.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just got delivery of this and it was delivered with no issues, no breakage, etc. Watched a 4K movie and it looked fantastic. Blacks were black, colors were great. What a great price for a good TV. But when I watch non-4k it's not as crisp looking as playing 720/1080P on my old 1080P tv. :(. That's okay, i'll live. I didn't feel like spending $1K on the 55" Sony 900e that would have given me better upscaling so I accept the limitations of the set. That being said, most of the time i'll be watching 4k movies and only an hour a day will I be watching anything else. Wish I had gotten a 65"! But that's neither here nor there. If you're in the middle of choosing 55 vs 65, maybe go 65. Viewing angle btw seems better than last years version of this tv. It's not awesome but that's LCD for you.

Awesome display and controls.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture is pure and clear. Vivid true colors and distortion free display. Direct selection from Netflix to other online streaming apps through individual buttons works like a charm. Setting up is as simple as abc...

Great TV for the price
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a 55" TV without blowing through my budget. I had done some research and found that this was a highly recommended product. I love the vivid picture quality and how I can change the picture settings based on what I'm watching. I like that I can link my Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime onto the TV itself. The interface is easy to use. Why I took off a star: I bought this TV a month ago and a week ago, the picture started to go out. The picture would disappear to a black screen but the audio remained, at other times the picture would become a pixelated green screen. I had Geek Squad come out and they recommended I just exchange it in-store (which I did).

Great Value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is amazing for the price. I love the picture quality and the simplified remote. Having Roku built-in is a great plus. Only issue I have is with being able to broadcast an iPhone video to the TV.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the new T.V. It was easy to set up and love that Roku is built into the television so no need to have my roku device anymore. Picture is great and the price on the TV was awesome for all the features you get.

Great looking picture!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV produces amazing colors, while not being very expensive. I was hesitant to buy anything other than a Sony, but I primarily use this for Xbox gaming and it has done the job better than I expected. I have had no banding issues and really have no complaints. You can read what you want about black levels, viewing angles, etc. But you know you're not buying top-of-the-line if you get this, though you may not care once you try it out for yourself. This is a great TV and I'd buy another one in the future.

Stunning picture quality & great value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV from TCL packs a lot of value for its price tag. The HDR picture quality is wonderful, and movies/ps4 gaming are a delight. Highly recommend as an alternative to some of the more expensive big name brands.

The Best Budget 4K TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I probably did more research before buying this TV than I have any other major purchase, let alone other TVs. A number of websites claimed it was the best 4K TV to buy on a budget- and they were right! The 96 local dimming zones are the key, allowing for very strong local contrast. Add in the solid amount of picture options, and you're definitely getting your money's worth and more! To boot, it's a Roku TV, which is arguably the best streaming platform around, and the Roku app on your smartphone allows you to further calibrate your picture settings, with white balance and color space levels. As an extra little bit about the physical layout of the TV, the legs are reversible- this was helpful for me to not have to buy a new stand!
