This TV is perfect for those looking for 4K and HDR on a budget. The picture is great and the Roku integration is wonderful. Highly recommend this TV.

First, the tv itself along with the image quality is amazing! I Bought this TV back in May and havent had any issues. The only dislike I have is that for a smart TV in 2018, I'm surprised to find there is no Web browser on this, no wake up alarm, and the remote is so cheap (that's Roku) you can use your smart phone which is way better. Other than that I use my tv to watch 4K movies and play Xbox1 X games in 4k

The TCL 55 INCH series 6 has a great picture. The colors are great . the roku works great. Can't wait to buy a second TCL series 6. Only need my fios remote to work everything.

This TV is very clear and a pleasure to watch. I hate to shop so I researched TV reviews online and this model kept appearing as a reasonably priced excellent smart TV. So far, I would have to agree. My only complaint is that I seem to lose the cable single a couple of times each day. I’m assuming it’s the cable company. It’s an easy button push to pick up the signal again. I also use wifi streaming with this TV. The menu on the TV seems intuitive so I’ve had no issues. I did buy the recommended Pope sound system with the TV and I’m happy with that as well. I used Best Buy set-up and it was fast and well explained. No complaints here!

The quality of LCD panel is great and the visuals are outstanding. I have owned 4K Samsung and Sony TVs/projectors and this TV is as good or better than their displays. Also the price can't be beat Pros - Great panel/contrast - In built Roku with TV support works great - Remote is really good (it is IR, would be great if it was wireless) - Light weight, I was able to install the 55 inch alone without any help - premium build quality, looks great in a room - Dolby vision support, some Netflix content is supports this and looks great Cons - TV has not option for auto brightness adjustment, say when you turn off lights in a room

Excellent picture, easy to navigate, and I love the charcoal bezel. Only con I have is the speakers in my opinion are subpar.

As 4k tvs go, you can't beat this for one the price. There are definitely better tvs out there, but you will be shelling out at least $1200 for one. Good color, good hdr.

Replaced a 50” LG plasma which had 0 issues. Just wanted a LED since my living area is bright and also 4k. I originally purchased another LG led 4k but just wasnt satisfied. After researching and reading lots of positive reviews on this TCL i pulled the trigger even though it was a little more expensive but this one did have better features so only makes sense. LOVE this tv. Looks great, picture is awesome. First smart tv and those features work well. So far no issues after 4 months!

The good: Bought this TV to replace a much more expensive 55" Sony that failed after three years. This set cost less than the Sony would have cost to repair, and has a better picture with more features (Roku). The smartphone remote control app is awesome. And you can listen to streaming audio via your phone earphones! The bad: Should be 5 stars, BUT, when it powers up, it defaults to a "home" screen requiring you to select an input mode which you can only do with the factory remote, NOT your phone app or your cable remote. Small flaw but worth mentioning.

For the price this us a amazing quality tv. The colors and 4k are amazing. Everything is intuitive and easy to use on the remote as well. Would buy again and again

The TCL 55R615 was highly recommend by CNET as the best budget TV currently available, and I can see why. Have had this TV for about 5 months, and I’m still very impressed. Deep blacks, vibrant colors, great contrast, superb brightness. I used the settings suggested by rtings.com and tweaked them a little to suit my preferences. Roku interface is the best. The only flaw I’ve spotted is mediocre ability to handle fast motion, but it’s not very noticeable with most content. Spent $29 to replace the basic remote with the better voice-enabled Roku remote, which works flawlessly with this TV.

Tv is awesome has awesome picture and features the only negative is the remote. Of course the Roku remote on the phone is a good replacement option.

Stream all shows, sports with unit working flawlessly. Sound is adequate. We watch in small room with no additional sound assist.

This TV has a beautiful picture and the Roku interface makes it very easy to use. I have several options from streaming to local antenna and choosing between them is a breeze.

We had an old LG 1080 TV in the living room and I wanted a new TV that I wasn't going over and switching this and that, to watch different platforms. Roku Ultra, Fire TV, Blu-ray, etc. Now I just hit the home button and I'm able to watch what I want on a 4k TV with a great picture. It's not as good as a $2500.00 TV but for the price during the Christmas season it's great. I really like the way it works and all the variety the ability to install things like Tubi, YouTube, HBO, YouTube TV, Netflix, my Amazon prime TV, etc. I'm very satisfied with the product.

Picture quality is great! Colors are sharp. Perfect size for our viewing needs. Easy to set up to our cable and gaming systems.

Great picture quality and features with Roku TV built in. Sound quality is good and loud, but thin. Soundbar is a must - but some soundbar connections are finicky. The Yamaha SB I have doesn’t like coming off of mute and volume is low, but that is a soundbar issue. RokuTV interface is very friendly and has moved my AppleTV 4K to a different set in the house. Picture quality is definitely comparable to or superior to other sets in and above the price range. Great value!

I was skeptical, having read some of the negative reviews, but am glad I decided to purchase this TV. After tweeting the settings, I couldn't be happier with the overall performance. 4K blu-rays are a delight to watch, with the color and clarity being exceptional. I have not experienced any of the banding, dirty screen, or burning smell issues, which some have mentioned, in the 3 weeks that I have owned this TV.

I've had the TV for about 2 months. I was used to the Roku interface so going with a Roku TV made for a seemless transition. Great picture and easy to navigate

Great picture and price. This television gets a bad rep by some of the reviews on here. This issue of "vertical banding" that some people are having in my opinion is more about the picture settings. The picture examples that I have seen have the picture too bright. As far as the TV cutting off on its own, I haven't had any kind of problems with that. I went into the settings and changed it off the power saving mode. I have found online the picture settings for this TV and applied to mine, and I have a great picture whether it is on Netflix, YouTube, Vudu, Blu-ray player, or just regular cable.
